Yeah, I've got the day off for it. Haven't planned where I'm going yet though. I was hoping that I'd find somewhere quiet to see it pass without too many crowds, but looking at the pics for the last two days, that just ain't gonna happen.

Brilliant finish today, well done Nibali.

Fabulous support from the Brits so far. I know the weather's been kind but I get the feeling they would've been there even if were peeing down. Would love to see it down here one day.

The way Nibail was shelled out of the back of the group yesterday was the most impressive thing.

I think Vincenzo must read Charlton Life after todays stage........

I've been in Yorkshire all week, watched stage 1 on the Cote De Cray and rode the whole of that stage in the week. Was incredible.

And to top it all off I have a VIP space on the mall thanks to my cycling club, can't wait!!!

    Impressive crowds.

But can anyopne tell me what else happens, or is it just the peoloton go past you for 30 seconds and you go home?

If you were lining the road along the moors, is that basicallyl it?

Remember standing on Bostall Hill and it took about 30secs for them to come past but for about an hour a while beforehand they have carnival type floats coming past chucking out free stuff

    ok thanks.

just got it in my head that to get the full live viewing experience should just turn on the ITV coverage and watch a random 30 secs of footage then go off and look up the result 4 hours later !!!

Enjoyed watching the race, could have done without the nursery school history lesson throughout though.

I like the history lessons, it makes more sense when they are in France, as my knowledge is poor. Don't forget Eurosport coverage is shown around the world.

I watched it in Wapping. Unbelievable how fast those guys come past. Half hour travelling each way for 10 seconds of cycling, but i'm glad I went.

...and minus Jihadisson Lee, Black cabs, buses, white van drivers and nause-up pedestrians there to fuck your journey up...
