Heart. Club. Feeder. RD. Belgian. etc.
  • It's only a friendly I know, but it really is devastating seeing both church and Piggott upfront

Yeh, but there an element that would complain that BP never gave them a chance if he didn't play them at some point. Can you LOL your own post?

My F5 is easing it's way into the new season.
  • To anyone at Welling is anything happening?

Simon Church goes down in the box after rounding the Welling keeper - nothing given

Centre backs have looked abysmal. Church having a stinker. Welling look fitter and sharper.

Add Wiggins to the list of players having 'mares.

Once again, we cam point to the opposition being further into their pre season training.......or maybe just Church. To be honest, of we're playing different players in each half and no icelandic pete, it suggests the manager is waiting for the players to prove they're up for it.

I can't work out if this is a joke or meant as a serious comment.

Rumours are a player on the bench has a cast on his foot.

    Sure it's not a sponge?

40' Munns is playing well for Charlton here. His long diagonal is controlled and volleyed at goal by Church, easy save in the end #CAFCLive

It's a game of two halves.
  • Think the heat is affecting our players.
Have we scored yet in any of the friendlies?

I can confirm that Munns is not playing well. I can also confirm that Church's volley travelled goalwards at around 3mph.

    Painful viewing at the moment.

Did we play a flat 4-4-2? Where was Browne playing?

Well that's 45 mins I'm never getting back!
    Welling better team
The little no 8 for us showed some nice touches
Our no 7 was well off the pace
    Lennon looks a good prospect
Jordan's was ok in the muddle
    Thay all ran around.
    That's about it!

Wilson, morro and cousins looking ok but if I was in charge I'd change the whole thing around at half time... Oh wait

Watch Bikey put three of the Welling side in hospital in the second half of this friendly.

Hate to write young players off this easy but Jack Munns is not a Championship player, but don't blame him for playing poor. Whole midfield was outrun. Whole team didn't know what to do, hope second is better.

Wellings CB (both of them) look like Bikeys themselves, absolute sizes of men lol

    Phillips isn't vocal enough
Wiggins nowhere, keeps getting skinned by a guy straight from Foxes Fields
Lennon is a big thick meathead, keeps missing the ball out of position a lot
Morrison is a crap leader, doesn't rally the team at all
    Wilson is alright
Ahearne Grant is nowhere near ready
Munns is tiny and drops too deep
    Cousins is alright
Browne is rubbish, no strength, little pace, keeps drifting in and chasing the ball
Pigott is cumbersome and can't link up with the midfield
Church is himself, rounded the keeper and saw an open net, he got so excited I think he must have ejaculated on the pitch then slipped in it

Hoping for a better second half

Stuck at home as I'm on call today for work but from the look of team sheet the first half team have players we would not expect to field on a normal matchday. Hopefully second half will be a more regular line-up.......

Don't you mean Holmes-Dennis? Grant is a striker.
