I don'y understand how some people arent giving Buyens motm
To be honest I was a little disappointed in him. Maybe I had bigged him up in my head a little but I thought he squandered possession a lot, particularly first half and a lot seemed to bounce off him. Must admit I liked how he was always an option for the player with the ball.
Henderson 6 - still not sure about his distribution Solly 7 - solid Wiggins 6 - not sure if still affecte by his last injury Bikey 8 - a beast at the back Ben Haim 7 - generally went un-noticed but not a bad thing for defenders Gudmudsson 7.5 - shows flashes of being a Premier League player with some of his through balls Buyens 8.5 MOM - pulled all the strings in midfield, was always a passing option Jackson 6.5 - won a few crucial tackles and made the odd headed clearance from corners but little else impact on the game Cousins 8 - made an impact on the left side and showed some Parker-like flashes of skill in the 1st half Vetokele 7 - will have better games but didn't get the ball played into him much, but did run through at goal dangerously twice Tucdean 6.5 - will probably make way for a new striker soon but still a better option than Church & Pigott Moussa 7.5 - made an impact when he came on, gets an extra 0.5 for the goal

Henderson 5 - Sorry should have done better with the goal, should never have been beaten from there. I was there last week also and i am not convinced....Pope looked better. Solly 6.0 - Run his socks off as usual, not the same player since he got injured last season but gives it all. Wiggins 5 - Well beaten for the goal and isnt cut out for this level. League 1 player. Bikey 8.0 - Immense again. Lead the line superbly. Ben Haim 7.0 - Better than last week and tried to be positive. Gudmudsson 7.0 - Tidy game kepy things ticking alomg against a better midfield. Buyens 8.0 MOM Wasnt convinced last week but our best player today. Jackson 5.0 Sadly the pace of the championship is too much for Jacko. Another League 1 player. Cousins 7.0 - great goal but felt he was less influential as the game wore on. Vetokele 6.0 - Quite game but this guy will give us goals if we only created some for him Tucadean 5.0 - White mans smaller version of Leaburn. In-effective another player whose playing above his status. Moussa 7.0 - Just for the deflected goal - about bloody time.
Durso 3 - Usual inept prformance and as usual gave the opponents endless free kicks that he doesnt give us for the same incidents.
Henderson 6 Pretty comfortable Solly 7 dependable as ever Wiggins 6 has had better days but did ok against a tricky winger Bikey 8 the Great Wall of Bikey can be seen from space Ben Haim 7 heading could have been more commanding Gudmudsson 7 always willing and once settled will terrorise Buyens 7 Diego who? Solid, tenacious, what not to like Jackson 6 slowish start to season, but you just know he'll pop up with a crucial winner Cousins 7 so versatile and great finish Vetokele 6 very industrious and will cause havoc for most defences Tucdean 5 taking time to adapt, but tried hard Moussa 7 nice cameo and sent me wild with that cruelly deflected goal - beautiful

Looked better coming forward Bikey 7.5 Rock solid and formed a strong partnership with Ben Haim Ben Haim 7.5 As for Bikey. Brought the ball out of defence far better than Morro did which means Morro will need to up his game Gudmundsson 5.5. Unlike many on here I was underimpressed. He didn't link up well with Solly (contrast when Wilson came on) and was anonymous for long periods. Buyens 8. Our best player. Played some excellent balls into the channels and kept us coming forward Jackson 5.5 Perhaps a sign that we improved significantly when JJ was replaced by Wilson, Cousins moved into the centre and Gudmundsson went left Cousins 6. Great goal BUT... he is not a wide left or wide right player. He is a box-to-box midfielder as he showed in the last 15 when he moved inside. I find it frustrating to write this as I think he is a fantastic player when in his correct position but less than ordinary when played wide Vetokele 7.5 He was pacy, determined and kept the defenders on their toes throughout. And for someone who fails the Charlton height test, wins a surprising number of headers. Shame about the 1on1 but he made it with his determination Tucdean 5.5 Some nice touches but a lack of pace leaves him a possible weakness up front Moussa 7. A goal always helps a player's marks!! Apart from that he showed the passion we are looking for
Wilson gave the team the balance we were lacking. I am a fan of his and was pleased to see him come on and help turn 1 point into 3.

Gudmondsson - 7.5 great vision and pass for the first goal. Surprisingly not as effective on the left.

Jackson - 6.5 I feel he'd be much better as a super sub.
Cousins - 8.5 great goal, worked hard and covered every blade of grass. We were much more balanced with him in the middle.
Vetokele - 7 ran himself into the ground. Probably should have scored at the end but credit to Carson for not committing himself.
Tucudean - 7 great link up and hold up play. I think the goals will come but would like to see a more natural goal scorer start.
Moussa - 7 just about. Got us the goal we deserved. An improvement on Tuesdays game. Could be good on the left when he is fully up to speed.
