The man is the next Izale Mcleod.
A good season at a poor level and he's expected to be the next Thierry Henry.0 -
Thank fook. I can stop thinking up crap lyrics to popular toons about him and his old fella now!0

Could someone close this thread? We are coming across like a load of bitter, jealous twats here.
10 days ago everyone was going crazy over him, and now he is a waste of space.
Lets move on and concentrate on getting in another striker which is a vital target for today.1 -
Close this thread now.1

I'm glad he's not come here. I suspect he would of looked as happy holdin scarfy as he does holding the wigan shirt. End of the day I suspect the only club he wanted to go to was lens. And they didn't want him. And tours HAD to sell.
I only want players here that want to play for us1 -
He will be back playing in France this time next year IMO.1
-
No doubt there will be that weird Charlton reaction of him getting booed if he plays at The Valley next season, even though he wanted to join us!1

Sky sports news are saying that Wigan have signed Andy Delfort.
Surely they know there's no f in Delort0 -

Is George the best back up we can get?
We need more than 1 good striker.0 -
Just to be clear, i don't mean this in i think he will be awful because he did not sign for us, just that the way this deal has gone about has disaster written all over it and agree with what some other posters have suggested that what he really wanted was a decent deal in the top tier of French football but in the end he has taken the best deal at the club Tours have agreed a fee with.GretnaGreenAddick said:He will be back playing in France this time next year IMO.
I think he will end up on a loan with a view to buy deal at a Ligue 1 club for the 15/16 season.
Especially when Wigan are desperate to sell once that parachute money runs out and they have not got promoted again.1 -
Internet only just come back, I see this news, and frankly I am quite glad. Too much messing about, I would rather return to the days of keeping transfers more discreet.1
