Maybe just wanting to 100% offload Church first? Just guessing mind, seems really bizarre not to have announced it today

#millwall have agreed a loan deal until the end of the season with #cafc for Simon Church, who will now decide whether he wants the move.

    Can I swear?

Can we override the normal loan rules & let him play in the game at the toolbox??

Tel, I'm genuinely peeved at this one. I wanted Church to sign for us before he went to you but, after reading the seamless threads praising him, thought we'd dodged a bullet.

The one thing I hope he'll bring that we're missing is effort.

I hope it turns out that he's the type of player that flourishes at certain clubs and not at others. That's about as positive as I can be about signing this goalscoring phenomenon.

Don't forget RD is selling SL as we speak ... Perhaps T. Watt is included in the negotiations.

Would not be surprised if this was the case. Roly looking in the mirror arguing with him self like the scene from Sexy Beast.

BBW (that abbreviation seems wrong somehow  )

I won't fault Church at all for effort. He'll put a shift in and I think you may be right, in that it may click for him at another club. The frustrating thing for me is that the hardest shot I've ever seen him hit was a clearance on the sidelines that walloped the hoardings. In front of goal...

To be fair to church the one things he's got on his side is he always gives 100%

To be fair, going by the kind of players Oldham like to pick out maybe that's a good thing..

To be fair to Church, you can't fault his work-rate. He was actually one of our better players against Blackburn (not saying much mind). I genuinely thought he looked quite sharp earlier in the season before he got injured. He just isn't good enough for The Championship. League One at best, so could be ideal for you next season ;-)

  • Church runs his nuts off. 100% effort. I think the Millwall crowd respond to that. Might give him the lift he needs to do ok. If you get him it won't be lack of effort that disappoints you.

    Isco to Arsenal?

    Really?

Of all the things they need I would say a ball playing central midfielder is not high on the list - however it would make Coquelin further down the list so I am all for it

Not what they need at all i agree, just a rumour anyway. He's loved by madrid fans so may be no truth in it.

Here's another one for you, Messi to Chelsea after he was left out of Barca's last squad and then skipped training the following day and lastly, wait for it... the deal breaker....his girlfriend proceeded to follow Chelsea on instagram. Make of that what you will.

Bony to city is looking more likely though... That will spell the end of any potential excitement in Swansea's season if that goes through

Is Bony really that good? Seems a strange one to me. Low risk for them I suppose. Advantage that he knows the Prem so should settle early. Isco would be brilliant signing for any club.

Leon Best has returned to Blackburn after Derby sent him back because he wasn't get any games. Could he be a good foil for Igor?

Decent player Bony. He scores a fair few for Swansea and I should imagine City create many more chances as well. As you saw, low risk for them.....£25m. If only Roly's pockets were that deep.

Middlesbrough looking at Nick Powell on loan for the rest of the season.

Jenkinson to West Ham on a permanent deal in a swap for Reid.
