head Blunderland are paying a fee around 14m. Must be the biggest transfer in MLS history.

I think it is a straight swap for Altidore, 14m is what Defoe is getting in wages

Sky Sources have revealed QPR are interested in signing Standard Liege winger Paul-Jose M'Poku.

According to the ever reliable football rumours Luzon's first signing will be Lior Refaelov from Brugge.

Israeli attacking mid. Far too good for us.
Agent: dudu dahan (same as Luzon)
    Value on transfermarkt €2.2m

That's the typical profile of a Duchatelet signing. Not saying he's definitely signing but Luzon would be a mug to start without assurances that a couple of decent players are signed.
  • so Seriously Red if Luzon does not sign a couple of decent players in the current window, then you will agree that Luzon is a mug?

Only if you promise not to take them when there is a full moon. I'd never forgive myself if you went into overdrive. . As I've said a few times before on here the first 50 years are the worst, we've had darker times.

I think we might be the only club I've seen in the Championship not to be linked with players on the transfer accounts. I know most are made up anyway but that's how unlikely it is for us, people won't even make up we're going to sign people.

Except that we have already signed 2 players (Watt and the Serbian GK)

Within the network, fishing a bit there mate.

Let's see what happens tomorrow at Watford and up until 1 Feb.
If Duchatelet, Dahan and whoever else is involved want Luzon to be a success then he needs results. To get results we need a number 9 and for every decent player to stay fit and in form... Or more likely we need more depth in our front six choices.

And if Henderson is out for much longer then we need a better reserve keeper.

My instinct is that M.Duchatelet wants to see progress every month, every quarter. We start a new chapter this week with Luzon... Second year of Staprix - let's see?
