    didn't say we should sign him thought , did I ? Just meant that how he played today is exactly what we need!

    Nope I definitely meant Jon Stead... Pretty much knew his career and didnt think he'd played for Spurs so checked Wikipedia before posting

    No I mean the other guy (kev) got confused and was talking about the wrong player. I think he is confusing Stead with Booth

    Read that Lambert fined Grealish because he said he wanted to go on loan to play some exciting football. Don't blame him really as Villa have been dire since Lambert took over.

    Maybe the chairman would have a better chance of selling the club if he removed Lambert.

    At the end of the last transfer window we missed out on 2 players because we couldn't get the deals done in time, does anyone know who these players were? Wonder if we are still interested.

    I think it came out that one was Alain Traore and another was Jelle Vossen who went to Boro

    Wonder if our scouts are watching Bristol City - West Ham. After Bob and co went to watch them.

    Seems like a lost cause now though, I'd expect.

    Thought Smith had very little skill on show. A few headers but never had the movement to show as a hold-up player. Very little linking play. Our ex-M Smith a better player.
