Can't see him dropping a division having played 14 of their 22 games.

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is ready to wait before signing a new contract at the club, writes the Mail on Sunday.

The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer and the Gunners are readying a new deal but the 23-year-old is ready to wait to see if he is still in the first team when Jack Wilshere returns from injury before committing his future to the north London club.

Needs to be playing regularly. Premiership level player though. Would be a very welcome player at Charlton and would be cemented into the first team. Not a surprise that when he returned to Arsenal, alongside Henderson's injury that Charlton's results dramatically dropped off.

Edit. Possible wind up. Not sure if that is a real Twitter Account. Not verified.

Seems a bit of a pointless wind up if it is though. Why bother?
  • Sounds like a Bit of 'Jackson' banter to me.

I don't mind this being a crap rumours thread, with no actual Charlton rumours, if there are some potential Charlton deals underway, being negotiated and the first we get to hear of it is the announcement of a done deal. I'd be very happy with that. Especially if the players coming through are decent.

Pony player. Only attribute is being a biggish thug. Not good on the ball, doesn't show enough for possession to demonstrate any passing ability, no pace, Not box to box. Most tackles are fouls. Rarely scores. Sam's lovechild.

Everytime you post something I think you'll never say something madder than that. You keep proving me wrong.

What space time continuum do you occupy? It clearly isn't reality as I understand it.

    Quite.

That's the joys of social media. All an absolute waste of time.

The Twitter account for Noble is legit. He has only started posting recently, hence why it hasn't been verified

Spent a bit of time with Mark in Cyprus last June a true gent who plays for he's boyhood club , not up himself like most footballers , still hangs round with his mates from school, and as for joining us No Chance.
  • More chance of Keith Peacock joining West Ham.
  • It is his Twitter account 100%

Very bizarre for him to follow the charlton team, but surely nothing in this.
  • We scumbags of Bermondsey are looking to tie up the loaning of Jos Hooiveld from Southampton along with two permanent signings in the form of John Goosens and Kevin Van Veen (striker with FC Oss in Holland) as Ian Hollway looks to continue his complete rebuilding of the squad.

Good morning Richard, you seem like a jovial chap. Just what one needs on a Monday morning.

Do not mean to be disrespectful m8 but can you imagine the abuse a Charlton fan would get if he went on a Millwall forum and said Charlton are going to sign this player.

    No offence/disrespect taken.

Feel free to level whatever abuse at me that you feel I deserve. I'm big and ugly enough to take it. In fact, I'm quite surprised at the lack of abuse levelled at me since I started posting :)
