I am not entirely sure what people are expecting. We look like we are about to sign a couple of defenders from Sporting Lisbon and Levante - both top flight teams in their respective countries.
We are also rumoured to be looking at a guy from Plymouth - 21 year old centre half who has played 146 times for him team and is their captain (so you would think he has a bit about him
Or Jed Wallace at Portsmouth who has been very highly rated and again fits the type of player we are linking ourselves with.
Finally there is talk of a striker from "Division one"
And all for a rumoured outlay of around £3m

This, sorry to dampen spirits but it seems all a little bit knee jerk to me following recent events and the time we needed reinforcements was back in November after the Reading away win and just outside the play off places.
