But for some moaning that we've signed players in the wrong order is much more fun.Callumcafc said:Or possibly Kramer? Would be a lot more exciting to sign a striker!!

Typo query before i get too excited.... rather than a new signing we're not talking about a new 'sign in' one of the Valley loos or something...? "remember to wash your hands" that sort of thing?2

So, let me get this straight... A player we had confirmed as being signed a couple of days ago has just been picked up from the airport by a club employee?5

People might mock but am glad this woman has announced that she's picked up Patrick from the Airport.
I've had horrible sleepness nights thinking that we may never get to see Bauer in action because like many foreign people here, they cant seem to read a London Underground map, so would be lost to us on some remote Northern Line train cos he dont have a scooby where to go1 -

"Another new player is to be unveiled hopefully tomorrow, not Bulot on a new deal, not a player we have had before and not Bauer"
I wonder who her Source is ?

I expect the next tweet to read something like
"@tjleaburn - BREAKING NEWS. Can't say anymore now but we might see Darren Purse at the Valley in the not too distant future.....he's on the Oxford u21 coaching staff and they've been drawn away to our u21 team in the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup #exciting"
I'm also aware that this far too many characters for a tweet but you can't cap characters when it comes to expressing my disappointment in this nonsense she's drummed up with that silly tweet0 -
Calm down people. A player liaison officer was never going to reveal a new signing via a photo on Twitter was she. At worst a little naivity on her part by her tweets but it really is not an issue unless you wish to convince yourself it is one.11

We don't half have some weird fans.18

Jesus Christ, I hope you never read the news. There's some shit in there that'll blow all the fuses out in your brain if that Tweet has got you so upset. Have a lie downcabbles said:

People need to get a grip. No news and silence = club getting slagged off. A bit of harmless tweeting and a nice photo all done in a good way = club getting slagged off. A more uptight miserable bunch of fans you couldn't wish to find. No doubt she will now keep schtum instead of engaging with us.11

I'd suggest a little naivity (and hysteria) by the recipients rather than the sender.Athletico Charlton said:Calm down people. She never said she was picking up a new signing we didn't already know of so why are people so surprised and giving her grief? Ok maybe the whole secrecy about who she was picking up was a bit unnecessary in the sense of why was it a secret but other than that she said she wouldn't reveal any signings that hadn't already been mentioned by the club. As much at the phrase on here often annoys me as been on the receiving end a few times, but move on.
More interesting is this Ba possible signing, bulot possible and being linked with that striker kramer0 - Sponsored links:

On this one I quite like Mrs Leaburn sharing that she is enjoying her job. It is harmless isn't it?15

If Patrick is 6'4 then Tracey is no shorty herself, is she? Could she play alongside if we are pushed?4

No matter how much I lie down it will take a while for me to get past this.3 -
Either that or she's thinking... I'm going to look tiny if I stand next to Patrick wearing flats so I'll wear the biggest heals possible.Bryan_Kynsie said:If Patrick is 6'4 then Tracey is no shorty herself, is she? Could she play alongside if we are pushed?
And no I'm not a woman myself, and no to all you hopeful men I cant read women's minds, I'm just 6.4 myself and thats exactly the sort of thing my other half has to do lol!0 -
Can you head a ball into the back of the net? If so you could be just who we are looking for.ForeverAddickted said:

Honestly this thread is hilarious. Old men getting their knickers in a twist because the player liaison officer is employing social media in her job. Good on her.9

Brentford have cooled their interest in Michiel Kramer with Charlton Athletic now leading the chase for the striker.
The 26-year-old reportedly turned down a move to Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month and the Bees were also interested in the ADO Den Haag forward.
Bees boss Marinus Dijkhuizen is a big fan of his free-scoring fellow countryman and had added him to his summer shopping list.
However, the Addicks are now the third Championship club to make an enquiry for the player. who scored 17 times in the Eredivisie last season, and Brentford have taken a step back.
Dijkhuizen’s side are expected to seal one deal in the coming days as GetWestLondon revealed on Friday that their mystery signing is set to be revealed as Konstantin Kerschbaumer.
A photograph had emerged online late last week of an unknown player being paraded in front of the cameras at Griffin Park.
Owner Matthew Benham tweeted out a cryptic clue as to the true identity of the mystery figure and all clues point to Austrian midfielder Kerschbaumer.
The 22-year-old currently plies his trade with FC Admira Wacker Mödling in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Kramer would be great, 3rd top scorer in the Dutch league. Tall as well so can give give us a threat at set pieces.3
-
On paper - a high scoring forward from the Dutch top flight who offers the much needed aerial threat is just what we need.
Potentially, Watt and Kramer with Vetokele and Ahearne Grant to learn off them would be a nice set of forward options.8
