Career best batting performances by Azharullah and Sanderson.

If you are a tail ender and want to boost your figures come to Kent!

Totally disagree - if they did come to Kent their average would drop like a stone!

This game is likely to be over if not tonight then within the first hour tomorrow. These collapses and short matches must be costing the county especially the attendances they would hope for in Canterbury week. Regardless of what the Northants last two put on, they should have enough of a lead to worry about batting again.

398 all out for a lead of 231

  • Northants should claim the extra half hour and earn themselves an extra day off.
Kent's so called batsmen and so called coaches need to spend the time in intensive practice of basic technique and concentration. In 4 day cricket over the last 2 years my nephew's under 11 club side's attack would give them a proper working over.

Just wanted to join in the happiness with Kent. Having enjoyed how superior we were compared t Sussex and Essex recently, this is the inverse, Truely horrible performance all round. It may be that the wicket is just tame (to spare our bowlers blushes) and it's just our batsmen are turning in another blinder, but really, this has been a season to forget so far. Maybe we should play our games in november when rain would spare us? Currently 36-1, shasing 210 to avoid an innings defeat. Roll on the football season!

Got to feel sorry for Yardy. Due to retire at the end of the season we probably won't see too much of him again.

    Willey now 93 off 38

    Can't believe that finish... :-(

Kent and Lancashire play out a tie.

142 all out for Kent and 142-6 for Lancashire. Lancashire go through having lost less wickets...

    Kent draw but lose.

They should of had a one over Play off.

Each side have just the two batmen, so sudden death.
