    They badly need someone up top who holds it up and creates space for those in behind - Rooney isn't that player and looks woefully out of forn too.

    Maybe they should have rivalled Liverpool for Benteke, and they definitely shouldn't have bodged the Pedro deal, good signing.for Chelsea that.

    We're now seeing the effect of the money in the prem - ibarbo to Watford, cabaye to palarse, inler to Leicester - these are all bonkers signings & illustrate the differences between the money on offer in comparison to almost anywhere else - maybe three or four big European clubs aside
