On another website I stated that Premier League sides should be forced to sign an Agreement when they're in the top Division.
If a club like Carlisle (hell even Brighton) get into difficulty like this (talking about if they suffer from flooding etc. rather than financial issues) then the closest Premier League club to them should come in to help them out, the millions they're getting from TV deals etc. means I doubt they'd even feel the pinch whereas Welling a couple of seasons ago seriously suffered when they lost a few of their floodlights for a few months and somehow had to find the money to make the repairs.
Just a shame that the Premier League remain completely silent in these sort of situations whereas the likes of Preston are more than happy to help.

That Accrington boss is an absolute pratt. This is clearly an extremely unique situation - one in which the 'fairness of football' should probably be put to one side for a bit whilst something is ironed out that suits the people and players of Carlisle first and foremost considering the predicament they are in.

I know what he's trying to say... Accrington are in a Play-Off scrap with Carlisle, their games are being called off due to an unplayable pitch so later in the season their matches will build up and it could harm their promotion challenge, Carlisle on the other are being allowed to play their matches at other grounds meaning their fixtures wont build up.
Its careless in a way because the surrounding Carlisle area is suffering so its a bit tactless in that respect... In the FOOTBALLING respect that I know he means, he's got it spot on as could be a dangerous argument for the future.
i.e. Barrow is also part of Cumbria and must have endure the same sort of issues that have happened in Carlisle, their last home match was called off on the 5th December, they didnt get to play their match elsewhere?
Barrow is south of Carlisle and not hit nowhere as bad.

On one hand you can sympathise with Carlisle as even the best protection to their pitch would have caused the flooding (Same with Welling when they lost their floodlights and played the rest of the season @ Ebbsfleet)
On the other (solely on a Footballing sense) you can sympathise with Accrington, they don't have the finances to ensure their pitch gets the best protection either so will have to postpone matches for this reason, that'll cause fixture congestion later in the season and could potentially harm their promotion bid.
