The protest fund account details I posted are correct.

I am Alan Davis. The account details I gave for the CARd merchandise are different, but also correct. Payments for the CARD merchandise come to me, I pay out for the packing and postage costs and transfer the rest into the protest fund account. That way I am able to manage the merchandising activity properly, including keeping close eye on the profit line so the protest fund gets the benefit.

I may have caused this confusion, was not clear with Siv whilst asking for as favour....

I think you're right. He'll be especially good in the scene were they finally cary the senile old fool away for a lifetime on Plum Island.

I remember having my son on my shoulders and kicking the barriers noida my and peaceably more or less in time to several protest songs on several different days.

Look forward to receiving the banning order for that. After PMSL, and then working out what legal contraventions have taken place in their submission, look forward to obtaining some decent damages.

So, what's the verdict on the Sparrows Lane demonstration?

For what it's worth, my view is that it was a complete success. It called out the owners in the most public way possible; it used publicity to bring about a change-of-mind among sponsors; and it achieved it all with wit and imagination. Brilliant.

Roland Duchatelet is a smart businessman. He holds himself in the highest regard. He wants to make money; but, more than that, he wants to be regarded as being "right". So, something that will damage him financially is a good thing. But something that shows him up as stupid, mis-calculating, under-prepared and utterly foolish is even better.

CARD is slowly turning him from being a very rich, very clever man, into a rich, stupid man. And I bet he hates that more than anything.

Not forgetting the good work his partners Calamity Kate and Big Tony "sorry South Stand" Cahones
are doing to help.
