Two teams with nothing to play for. Deja vu with parky's relegation to league one; once confirmed the team played quite well. All we need is someone like the Spivs to buy us, invest in a squad, get promoted and run out of money and sell to someone with money and no football knowledge.., perhaps not the last bit.
Pleased with the win and support the team and not the regime.

Bar Vetokele from the starting eleven they all had a good game. Kashi very good on his return. Pope very confident now with 4 good saves today.

Played like that on a regular basis then it would have been a comfortable mid table finish but sadly we all know why League One football will occur in August.

Probably adds another £100k onto Lookmams value. JBG seems to have found his form in the last few matches.

Very good performance and a deserved 2 nil lead we looked like stretching until they scored.

From then on it was an onslaught which we dealt with. Just.

Very hard working team epitomised by the returning Kashi. Amazing effort given he's not played 90 mins for 6 months or more. He and JJ were very solid in the centre but as both tired at the end it showed.

JBG had one his good games, Lookman was bright, Igor worked very hard but his touch was terrible, Fox and Fanni did well at both ends

Pope made two great one on one saves and tipped another over. Looked to distribute early and to feet. Very few lumps from him or others and we played some nice stuff at times.

Leeds are a bunch of dirty thugs managed by a dirty thug and were given free reign by the ref.

A pleasing end to the season away, always good to see us win, shame that neither of the scorers and a few others are not likely to be around next season but if we can keep Pope, Diarra and Kashi we'll at least have a spine next year.

Off to sample the delights of York again tonight.

Decent performance, good win and even sweeter when you're surrounded by Leeds fans like I was today.

I didn't think we played particularly well and a draw would've been a fair result.

Special mentions to The Pope, Harriott, Gudmundsson and Lookman. The rest were average.

    Where is Solly?

I think the results from the last few games haven't reflected our performances, so I think Riga and the players deserved that win.

We played well. Leeds had spells of dominance but never really got going and we came out after the 2nd half and really took the game to them.
Pope really was excellent. Made a couple of brilliant saves but also looked commanding and held onto the ball from corners very well. Promising signs if he's to be our first choice next season.
Lookman was unplayable, they didn't really know how to handle him and he was unlucky not to score a free kick in the first half. JBG's first good game I've seen this season, will miss him when he's gone.
Couple of dodgy touches from Fanni and Diarra but both played well all in all.
Kahsi showed how much we've missed him this season, any chance of him sticking around?
Callum proved his pace but nothing really came off for him.
Vetokele was particularly disappointing, got into good positions but was caught offside a few times and the times when he wasn't offside his touch was awful.
Weird atmosphere, could tell both sides had nothing to play for.
Unbeaten in Leeds for 16 years now. Long may it continue.

Just a question for peeps that were at the game, Seeing as Kashi played in midfield with Jacko, does that make Kashi a far and away a better player than Cousins or just more experienced?
  • Chuffed for the guys and gals who went - hope they all had a good day out and are enjoying their evenings

Give us a chance - it was a long drive back and I only have to get just south of the A14. Great performance by Pope today, standout performance which impressed the Leeds supporters I was sitting alongside. Lookman showed quality but there was definitely something that elevated the rest of the team out of the doldrums. They still seem to be 11 individuals on the pitch, not surprising considering the constant chopping and changing but for a change they had more understanding than the Leeds team and that contributed to the result.

Keith Hill did not have a bad game but it was not top drawer and his homer bias showed a bit but given the typical Leeds crowd in some ways you cant blame him.

Good to see someone with a Classical education.

I wonder whether he has a similar bias regarding Virgil....

Illad that I thought Keith Hill did a good job.

I have said all season that Kashi was the key missing and you admitted he looked very good early season. Once both he and Diarra were both injured we had a hole to fill - simple game this football

Sounds like a good end to our away Odyssey this year.

Don't believe JJ and Solly were dropped last week for speaking out. Solly has an ankle injury. But going on the picture he posted on Twitter, I suspect Hendo has been dropped for non-footballing reasons. Either way, on the sounds of things, Pope should be considered our number 1 at the moment.

It's a good job we are going through this dodgy period of winning now otherwise we would never have been relegated!??
