Why does "fucking useless bint" spring to mind whenever i see her mugshot?

Oh i know she's devastated my football club with her Abbott and Costello approach to management...

From SE9 magazine on FB today.

"Work has been suspended on Charlton's £15m training ground. After a series of blunders including re-laying pitches, collapsing trenches and mis-calculations over the number of pitches they needed, work on CAFC's lavish training HQ has ground to a halt, raising speculation about the Belgian owner's long term commitment to the club . Calls to CAFC's media office by SEnine have gone unanswered for weeks."

Strangely enough work was taking place on the 'big trench' on Sunday when I went past.

Roland popped over to do some more digging of the hole he's in.

No no no, it's all still going to plan. We've been told it is, so that's all ok.

I blame Tony Cojones. A man who can't manage to get a reasonable number of chips into a bag is never going to cope with a building project.

    http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/72723/we-are-up-for-sale-rumour#latest

I know I posted that while back but i think this issue has starting happening back then... and now its coming to a head.

He's just used the £15m set aside to complete the training ground project on buying is wife St Trinians AGAIN.....lets be honest - what's the point of a decent training ground when you have a shit team, no supporters, no income etc.

A spokesman for the building contractor "Bodget & Scarper" have released a statement saying "The media are once again stirring trouble" and building works are going ahead as soon as Wickes can get the 6 bags of Readymix delivered and Tony Southstand can find his "level" (well we all know where that is).......image

So the Burger Flipper in Chief is Project Managing this complex construction project?

    God help us.

No Tony is not Project Managing it. There's a specialist company doing so and they report in to Tony and the team
Love to see that month end report.

Who are this 'specialist company'? I just need to make sure they are not on our approved list as my 11 year old nephew could manage digging a few trenches better than them.

Even if you appoint external project management, someone has to take ownership of the scheme within the club's management structure. If that's not the chief operating officer, who is it?

My guess is Sue Parkes, she can keep an eye on proceedings from her bathroom window.

Think the OP should change it to 'No Builders at the Training Ground'.

Perhaps thats why Mandy Double-Barrel buggered off. She couldn't cope with the expectation of selling tickets and wandering around the site in hard hat and wellies.

Just because the team and managers have been shit, it doesn't mean that everything else is.

When I saw that thread title I was expecting a predominantly misogynistic rant at squirrel face and speculation that PMS could be contributing to her nuttiness, but no, it's bumped up cos the builders probably ain't at the training ground any more. Cue insensitive speculation about menopause..?

I wonder which centre forward sale is paying for it this time? Thanks Igor.

The pitch is meant to be reseeded each summer isn't it ?

The previous big outlay was more to do with the drainage & the layers below the grass.
