    Lol. Good one.

    They must be waiting for a quieter period when there are less people kicking around the place to schedule the bulk of the works then. Perhaps when the weather is likely to be better. Maybe December.

    After reading various rumours a spokesman for the club Tony Southstand a former kiosk attendant for high end caterers Tupperware south said today, while there was a delay in building works after a board level decision to not wait for the August bank holiday sale at Wickes, himself and KM did a big shop at the store spending over £70, the club released pictures so it must be true.imageimageimageimage

    This.

    It's inconceivable that this project doesn't have a main contractor who will have set out a schedule of works for themselves and sub contractors that ensures that there is a smooth transition between phases of works ensuring that time and money are not wasted having men or plant sitting around or the necessity of moving plant on and off site.

    There will have been penalties written into contracts to ensure all of the above happens.

    A completely new level of incompetence could also be the reason feck all is happening. That or there is another reason we're not being told about but that's surely not possible.

    KM: We are finishing phase 1, the water reservoir delayed it a bit. We are behind schedule, but
    phase 2 will be starting soon, which is the community part. We are being audited for category 2, but
    once complete, may be able to buy an extra audit outside of the usual auditing window to assess for
    category 1.     The criteria for category 1 keeps changing. Expected to finish work towards end of 2018.

    So the project was due to be completed in 2016 according Emmaus but is now TWO YEARS late!

    EDIT and it only started in 2014 so how much of a delay can there have been in two years to make it two years late?

    Love how KM casually states "we're behind schedule" too!
    It's like they're waiting to pay the training ground off with the new ticketing fees!
