    What's with players not putting the ball on the penalty spot ? The Swiss bloke whip missed yesterday did the same with his penalty. If they can't even get that bit right they deserve to not score

    If we had got an early goal against Slovakia we would've ripped them apart. When they actually have to move out their own half they look awful. Germany strong however.

    When was the last time England missed a pen during normal time at a major competition? Have we ever?

    Beckham v France in 2004 is the only one i can think of.

    Because we wouldn't have passed the ball forward we would have played it back to sturridge on the half way line

    Serves Slovakia right this. Showed no intent and just parked the bus and played for a point against us, just so they'd get third and this is what they've ended up with. Could've gone for the win and got Iceland.
