  • Copying the Icelandic celebration is a bit cringey...

What's more cringey is the way substitutes are introduced, where they wait for the crowd to chant the surname. We should do that next season

"Coming on it's number 11, Calluuuuummmm"

    "HARRIOTT"

  • Clatts in the middle for the final. I'm always amused how much he hates footballers. Should be fun.

You won't say that when 500 CAFC fans do that at Bury after winning with a deflected goal. Johann Berg Gudmundsson Johnnie Jackson leading the Icelandic Clap.
  • Clatterberg's got the final gig, so don't expect to see the advantage rule.
  • How do our refs keep getting the biggest games? Oh wait it's because though the German, Italian, French refs are better, they are invariably in the final, whereas we are a sure bet to not be there by then

Remember Clattenburgs look at Pepe play acting in Champ League Final. I am sure if he could have he would have sent the cheating prick off just to embarrass the piece of shit. Probably one of the best refs around. And you know that Pepe is going to try every trick in the book to beat the French.

Griezmann's got top scorer and player of the tournament sewn up now

He's also scored more in the finals than any player in history... Only Ronaldo or Name scoring 4 or 5 each can beat him. And that's only if he doesn't score again.
    Platini scored 9 in 1984
Special thanks to the commentators for naff stats then! Lol!
  • Final .. Portugal were the more composed and organised side especially after Ronaldo finally limped off .. a situation whereby when the star leaves the stage, the other actors come to the fore ..
France were over anxious in front of their own fans, strange for such an experienced team.
So another upset and proof that it's not how you start, it's how you finish .. Portugal were awful in the group stage, excellent in the knock out .. and what a tremendous goal to win it with ((:>)

  • I absolutely cannot stand Pepe but his performances in the knock outs stages have shown that when he is switched on and not acting a complete nobber, then he can be an absolute monster at the back. Does the basics extremely well and has the desire to not let anything go, same as Fonte.

Best team on the night won it imo, France seemed flat and not really upto scratch to be a very stubborn Portugal side who looked dangerous in their build up.

Tournament has rightfully shown that if you have a team of players then you can really go far.
  • France were unsure of themselves, they played better than Portugal over 90 mins.

Problem was Griezmann ended up being a defensive midfielder at times.

Martial should have come on with 20 mins normal time to go. Why wait til you're losing to bring on a creative finisher?

Didnt know where to put this but looks like Roland got £256,443 thanks to Johann playing at the Euros.

Wonder who the Millwall Players were to earn more than us? - Seeing that Johann surely played every Qualifier and got to the Quarter-Finals whilst I cant see any Millwall players from last season (at least) who went further in the competition
