Definitely worth a score atleast0

Just checked on PP. 14/1 for relegation, 11/4 for promotion & evens for top 6 finish.
The relegation bet seems the only one to come in of any value.0 -
I'm lumping on at those odds.0

Got 25/1 with bet365 yesterday.
Also done us to finish bottom at 100/1 on betfair sportsbook.1 -

Many thought we were a great price for promotion last year!3

14s for relegation is as close to a money tree as we're likely to see. Taxi! Get me to the bookmakers and step on it my good man!1

I'm sorry. I'm as pissed off as the next person as to squad building but I really don't see relegation a threat. Certainly mid table is a distinct possibility but I just can't subscribe to relegation let alone finishing bottom.
Six weeks left on transfer window. We will sign more players. Hopefully quality enough to do better than mid table.9 -
Got 22-1 last week. Had £20 on it.1

Don't underestimate just how much shit is in this division.4

Yep. Even more so than in the past nowadays. League one has got weaker so half a dozen signings by the end of Aug could easily give us the best squad in the league. We're one of few teams in this league with money to spend....whether we will of course remains to be seen.stackitsteve said:Don't underestimate just how much shit is in this division.

I've put a bet on promotion the last 3 years. Learnt my lesson, put $50 relegation at 25-1.1

We'd have to be proper shit to be relegated.2

We do have Relegation Roger in the team. Lumping a score on those odds...1

'Half-a-dozen signings by end of Aug" is why 14-1 looks very attractive because I reckon we might get two or three at best. One or two of them might be network signings. Anyway, I will be having a bullseye on it. I will be more tha hapoy to lose the bet and ensure League One football for another season, by which time we might be shot of the Incompetent Belgians.OhEddieYouds said:

Many people said that at different points before and throughout last season too. As you say still time, and we don't know how Slade is going to get on with what he's given. I know it's an easier league to survive in than the Championship but never say never at the moment with the way this club is.ShootersHillGuru said:I'm sorry. The odds look good, but I could never bet against Charlton, I don't watch them play now, since this regime sacked Chris Powell, but I still want them to win every match, and am in a bad mood when we lose.0

Agree, and there are some very middling teams in this division. Even if we have a poor start with a stretched squad and were to spiral through to Christmas, I still think there is more than enough dross for us to be more than ok.ShootersHillGuru said:I'm sorry. First team 'professional' squad down to 18 by my reckoning with four of those unlikely to be fit for August. No goalkeepers, only Solly at right-back (can't do two games a week), three central midfielders and three strikers? The side at Orient today today has to feature a host of U21's. I think we need five or six more professionals but Katrien and Roly may see a bigger window to develop youngsters for next seasons Summer Sale. Those odds look increasingly attractive.0
