Roger Johnson Yelling At Fans

Roger Johnson isn't fit to lace Richard Rufus' or Simon Webster's boots.ricky_otto said:I remember Webster giving the away end the w*nker sign (believe that was Bury away in a dire 0-0 league cup game) - that was amusing and given his commitment to the cause, you just turned a blind eye to it.
Rufus also was also quite narked after Fulham away one season, and also Stockport away one year. But again, you half accepted it.
Players probably need to remember that fans put a lot of time, effort and money in to supporting the team. Given the current circumstancies, it's hardly a surprise when a bit of steam is let off.
Johnson has offered this club nothing in terms of commitment and never will. I really don't know who he thinks he is? Have a moan if you can back it up Roger - but you my friend never will be able to and will always be a prick.
Birmingham and wolves fans will no doubt have similar feelings on him.10 -
In the pre match warm up Roger Johnson could be made to kneel on the penalty spot only wearing a thong, and Russell Slade ought to whip him very hard a dozen times with one of these:
His lacerations should then be washed with salt water, and then he plays in the game. If he doesn't score a first half hat trick he should be subbed at half time and sacked from the club, if he scores the hat trick (minimum) he should be sacked at the end of the game.
Too harsh?
Too lenient?0 -

Webo had some shot on him, took my lad over to the training ground one half term, as you could in those days and a couple of the players had stayed behind for shooting practice. He (Webo) hit one low and about 10 yards wide, I stuck a foot out to save it going into the conifers and it nearly took me off my standing leg to much discomfort and giggling from my son. Webbo came over and said 'you don't wanna stop them mate you alright' to which I replied 'yeah I've got another one' and hobbled back to my carChizz said:

On yesterday's showing, the ball will be near him lotsHenry Irving said:All this talk off legal action and complaints to the FA is way off the mark.
He's an idiot and he's a poor professional.
What he did is no way acceptable but we don't need to bring other agencies to do our work for us.
Just target him at games, tweet the likes of Jacko and Solly.
And boo Johnson every time he's near the ball.2 - Sponsored links:

Still not clear what he did at the player of the year awards?0

Oh, yeah. Stupid mistake.
Roger Johnson is still an arse though and if he sold his soul to the devil in return for footballing talent, it wasn't worth much.0 -
He sold his brain to his arse3

Contest this point. I wasn't there but I watched the 'stream' that someone put on the fb group. He was getting lots of abuse from before the second goal went in. Plenty of wanker signs and plenty of fuck offs bla bla bla. It continued all teams way till after final whistle. It was mostly from the teenagers down at the front and it was pretty embarrassing watching it. But they are probably the same fans he said it to.WSS said:

Not saying it makes it ok but maybe he's had enough of it. Could you do your job being constantly abused?Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:
Because that would make it okay of courseiaitch said:I assume the fans weren't throwing abuse his way?
He wasn't getting any personal abuse at all. More dismay at today's awful performance.
Still can't stand the guy and think he is very much a knob. Not condoning this behaviour but adding some context.
I will be joining in with 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' when I use my free ticket for the cobblers game...0 - Sponsored links:

I'm coming late to the party on this as I was too ill to go to bury in the end. Given roger's love of bag, can't we just periodically all tip the FA off to do random a random drugs test. Likely that he's still partial to a bit. That way gross misconduct and we're shot of him
I'm surprised walkers crisps opted for the name bugles though1 -
Bloke lost his temper and had a go. Jesus, I do worry about you lot. I was right in front of him when he lost it. He shouldn't have done it, agreed, but let's draw a line and move on.4

Edited for you15 -
Fans can hurl abuse at a player but when they retaliate we start complaining.

I have no problem him calling us any name under the sun. If your big enough to give it out you should be able to take it.masicat said:Bloke lost his temper and had a go. His comment was a disgrace.

If the man had any contrition or decency he would have apologised by now. Slade and the club should now take action, but I'm not holding my breath.0
-
Yes - because he is meant to be a professional - and I very much doubt all in earshot had been hurling abuse at him. I would think better of him if he had the guts to apologise of his own accord.ElfsborgAddick said:Fans can hurl abuse at a player but when they retaliate we start complaining.
