My favourite is The Night by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons but I can't find a decent version to share.0

Glad that the Respond stable has found favour, @TelMc32. Eltham boy Steve White on dem drums... Kevin Miller on da bass...
By way of a little diversion, here's some rather laid-back '70s synth-funk, known to some as 'Rare Groove'. It's Milton Wright's Keep it up. Some splendid chords and chord changes on the old-school analogue synthesiser. Funky Friday!

Great track, only slightly spoiled by the thought that Pardew watched David Byrme and modelled his winning (ultimately losing) wembly dance on this1 -

Big Sound Authority. I used to see them all the time. I was in the video for This House. Also remember Tony What's-His-Name was a member of a cult called Exegesis.TelMc32 said:@Anna_Kissed you've got me going on Respond stuff now. Loved this...

Cardiacs
Musically diverse, creative and uncategorizable. Disturbing, uplifting and entertaining.
This gig (from 1990) would have left an impression on those fortunate to have been in the audience.

I'm a massive music nerd and I like all sorts of obscure weird shit that sends most people screaming......but Cardiacs will always be my favourite band1
