    Anyone ever had Casu Marzu?

I think I have just found the one cheese I don't like and am not even willing to try.

Personally prefer a Danish Blue over a Stilton.

John, shame he felt the need to change his surname, even only slightly.

    What?
    The dairy foodstuff?

    Oh right.

Most cheese is fine - apart from Stilton and Camembert or things that are very similar to either.
Warm Camembert smells like fresh fox shit. Stilton smells like decaying flesh.

Got to be Stinking Bishop (once you get over the fact that it smells like feet)

Sorry, but no - this was the blandest and most disappointing cheese I've had. I was expecting foot-flavoured fireworks, what I got was basically hardened Dairylea
  • Snowdonia Little Black Bomber cheddar is incredible. I cannot find a better cheddar.

I'm not a big cheese fan until Christmas, then it's all about the selection boxes, some Branston pickle, Gammon and cooked meats, with a nice bottle of ale or a glass of whiskey. All whilst watching absolute tosh on TV and pretending that work doesn't exist.

Other than that, definitely got a thing for dipping bread sticks (or even Garlic bread) in Cumumbert, and the smoked cheeses that look like sausages. It's disgusting but I can chomp my way through them like a chocolate bar.

@Greenie Junior - get some Boursin, spread it on a slice of salami and roll it up. Feckin delicious.

All over that like a tramp on chips

Nice to see CL deciding I can no longer eat a bit of mild cheese while dressed in Cargo trousers, hoodie, baseball cap and trainers. ;)

On holiday in Nimes, had soft goats cheese rolled in mixed herbs served in a pool of honey and balsamic reduction, with seeded granary type bread. Fabulous. Eat it a lot at home now.
