    Tbf he's right though. We need to get rid of about 6 who have performed rank week in week out. They have not been performing at L1 standard and get in about 6 that are at a top L1 standard.

    If players have been moved on and he is not happy with the squad then he won't bottle up his feelings. He will be very honest!!

    He's already being very honest. God knows what he will be like at the start of February if promises have not been kept.

    We had a shit useless unbalanced squad when Robinson arrived and the shenanagins at the club have impacted on the players we do have. They surely can't be immune to the toxicity surrounding the club.

    I think Robinson is a naturally buoyant character and in the few weeks he's been at The Valley he's now realising just what's going on and his one on one interviews tomorrow I think are to find out what the players have to say about it all from the protests through to the low morale.

    He certainly looks more daunted now than when he first arrived. I think he knows what's needed with the team and let's hope he's supported in acheiving that.

    Don't think much of the crap we've endured since his arrival is down to him. You can't polish a turd.

    Karl Robinson will never manage above the Championship (at best) because he isn't big enough as a personality. He still needs to control his ego and discover the self-assured confidence the great managers have.

    Dammn sight better than Wussy Slade.

    Who cares about this season? As long as we dont go down we are ok, RD is not here next season in league one. Guaranteed ;)

    I hate how he's pulling out this line that "It's always been about getting through December."

    When he first arrived wasn't it "all about" playing attacking football and scoring goals?

    He's come in all mouth - fans need to come together, protests need to stop, we'll be going at teams - and he hasn't managed to win a single game.

    Scouse James Corden needs to wake up and realise where the real problems are.

    We seemed to be getting through November ok (swindon aside) before he arrived!

    I get what you mean but he's giving the players an excuse.

    What then happens if we don't sign players in January? What if some of our better players are sold?

    Even with those weaker players Slade managed to get us enough wins to be mid table.

    Looks like six players already know they aren't wanted/need to be sold and aren't playing for the manager.

    Yes, we need new players but we are a lower half of league one team in a mess right now with a track record of changing managers every 25 games.

    Not many players potential dream move.

    Well he definitely looks a bit rattled and has gone a bit more David Brent, hasn't he.
    Fair enough, after all the talk, much of which seemed pretty facile to me, he has not delivered, and he is feeling the pressure.
    Personally, I think that it is a much more realistic place to be.
    There are no simple solutions here, Karl. There is one clear answer to the majority of our current difficulties though.
    Roland selling the club to someone who is interested in running a professional football properly for footballing success.

    When Slade was sacked we were 15th with 20 pts (6 pts off playoffs, 4 pts off relegation zone).

    When Nugent finished his stint we were 11th with 27 pts (2 pts off the playoffs, 9 pts off the relegation zone.

    Currently we are 14th with 28 pts (7 pts off the playoffs, 8 pts off the relegation zone).
