If I hear 'special relationship' one more time.

    Very cringeworthy too.

These bloody adverts that appeared in CL recently. They are too big. When I scroll down I accidentally click on them and I don't f*****g want a PPI check!
    Get rid

I just get all the companies that I lead source for at work pop up as banner ads. JIVE software, 3gHR.

I don't mind so much during the week, it's shit when I'm on here on like a Sunday and I see it. Oh great, 20 odd hours of my weekend left and I've been reminded of work

The answer is to spend more time looking at porn during work so all banner adds will reflect this at weekends

Wasn't there an MP who complained about porn on adverts, only to be told it was because the adverts were based on his search history. Hilarity ensued

I'd just like to congratulate you on your perfectly composed post. Top marks! If only more posters were as precise in their grammar.

Blimey, are their 15 minutes not up yet?
Was forced into watching 'CBB' last night and they were on it. Can't believe they're 25 years old and they still call themselves Jedward. Twats of the highest order.

They're at least 6 months older than me then.

I genuinely don't know why I'm now getting as the top banner ad where the Merry Xmas you idiots used to be, an advert about F1 tickets. I can't stand F1

    The algorithm must be broken

My Twitter timeline being full of 'celebrity' Trump haters telling us all how their grandfather is from Kazakhstan and their mum is from planet doodwaa 'are you gonna deport me?'.

Trumps a dick, but I don't need to hear your life story.
  • I’m irritated by the initial drumming beats of the Eastenders theme tune.

Not only have I failed to grab the remote control in time to turn the TV over, but by association I am then reminded of misery, gloom, doom, despondency, mumbling, shouting, darkness, foreboding, stalls being locked up, drudgery, more drudgery, bore, bore, bore, yawn yawn bore. Did I mention misery already?

But you can see The Valley on the intros and the end, unless they have changed it since I last saw it many years ago

Plums that obviously take the train to work every morning but still try making a phone call when going through Blackheath/Lewisham. Literally no signal so all you can hear is "hello...helloooo...can you hear me?....HELLOOOO?"

Had the same years ago coming home from Charing Cross once... Tried phoning my Mum to find out if there were any train issues and couldnt get through, she then called me back yet kept dropping out because she was in the area you've mentioned...

Irritatingly though she kept trying to phone me back for the next few minutes with the exact same issue happening!!

Overloading the cafetiere then going at it like a bull in a china shop using both hands to push the plunger down resulting in coffee sodden jim-jams.
I know, first-world problems, but give me strength.

I feel the same about The Archers and it's theme. My objective is always to turn the radio off in ad few notes as possible. "I'm maim that tune in one, Tom".

Just seen that BBC piece on illegal chimp trafficking - fuming. I'd quite happily beat the living shit out of anyone involved in any sort of animal trafficking/cruelty.

This poor little chimp - the report said that to get one to go and be some fucking arab's pet, up to 8-10 adults in its family/tribe had to be killed

Was this on BBC News or a documentary? Primate conservation is a subject close to my heart. Slow loris mortality rates are similar when smuggled and partly due to the pet trade and those awful movies, there are now about 2000 wild ring-tailed lemurs left. This planet is now a horrible place for most animals.

I've had a feckin' mare. I was invited to some formal dinner in Oxford, by an American lass who is studying there at the moment.

I'm not sure if I'm invited anymore; I got absolutely smashed on Saturday night - and at 2am ended up saying she was a bit of an idiot for inviting me, that I'm a bit too much of a commoner for that malarkey, and that ultimately everyone I've met through work from that kind of background has been a complete and utter pretentious c*nt. It'll be Tuesday tomorrow and I still haven't assessed the damage/began the bridge building.

The worst bit is, those genuinely aren't views I have FFS. I'm not sure where that nonsense even came from?! I have a rough idea that it may have been a conversation I'd had in a bit of a snobby venue an hour or two before, but.. that was just one twerp.

I'm to embarrassed to read the entire conversation tbh.

The plastic handle on toilet roll packaging. Designed I would guess to make it easier to carry to the car or even a gentle walk home. Doesn't even make it out of the store.

Bought some toilet rolls this morning and the handle lasted all the way home, first time for everything.

People who try to make you feel guilty for something you did in their dreams. It was your dream, not mine - you are responsible for it.

If you get 100,000 signatures you can get parliament to discuss it. Maybe they can stop it.
