Tony Blair

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the referendum is he not aware that his intervention, on anything, can only do harm to that which he supports.

He is massively deluded, so he probably refuses to contemplate such an idea

I think you're right. He probably thinks enough water has gone under the bridge for him to relaunch himself. But the hatred for him is immense.

So Open Britain pay Tony Blair his £300,000 speaker fee and get their agenda splattered all over the news. Money well spent? I expect Blair thinks so.

It's like Grandad babbling on in the corner after one too many brandies.
  • It's all a big ego trip for him. He doesn't give a toss whether Brexit happens or not, he's only in this for himself.

Sounds like Charlton's very own president

The man represents everything that is wrong with Great Britain
  • After the lies that took us into the US/Iraq war he has the cheek to say the British public have been misinformed. The irony.

Shoot the messenger, not the message, marked by how much fury is coming for the con artist leavers.

Anyway, Blair has every right to say what he said, he wasn't paid by Open Britain, and Alex Massie has a point me thinks

"I don’t know about you but if I were to make a speech arguing that democracy should be abandoned, I probably wouldn’t begin by saying ‘I want to be explicit. Yes, the British people voted to leave Europe. And I agree the will of the people should prevail.’

That’s just me, however. When Tony Blair says this, he apparently means to encourage an anti-democratic insurrection. Which, I suppose, makes sense if you still suffer from an acute case of Blair Derangement Syndrome. Plenty of people evidently do."

Scumbag. Yes we should listen to you Tony after all you were spot on about WMD's, resulting in deaths of our service men and women.

I'll always hold him responsible for overseeing the time when this Country's borders were lost. Whether that's a good thing depends on your views. To me it was terrible and I'll never forgive that.

Hard to think of someone (and his wife) I detest more.
  • I voted for the twat atleast once. IMO, the worst PM in my lifetime. Allowed enough murdering terrorists to leave prison early then became Middle East peace envoy. That went well.

As for the chinless wonder he calls a wife..
Hate them both with a passion.
  • Basically he's saying we're all too thick to understand the arguments for and against.

The majority voted to leave, accept it and move on.

I despise this prick more than any other British politician ever.
Just lock him up for taking us into an illegal war and through away the keys.

His Mrs is a prick too

I try not to get wound up by politicians so just accept that a few are good and many not so good.

But if ever I was to use the word 'detest' it would be in relation to Blair.

Reading the book 'Broken Vows' was the last straw for me. Money-grabbing egotistical excuse for a man.
