Was at that too (Grand National day I seem to remember)

One of my mates was so pissed, he thought we'd drawn 1-1 and only realised we'd lost when he got home.

Also went there when we drew 1 1 with Darren Anderson equalising.
Darren Anderson's only goal for the club (a neat near-post header). Played cricket with his son in later life.

I reckon we'll have about 350 there, including my mate on a Wednesday.

Robinson (Crusoe) is bringing his Man Friday, Congo Chris

Will be interesting if we can put out a squad of 18 for Shrewsbury as I think Solly is still suspended,
Bauer, Stephy, & Jake FC all went off for injuries, plus the long term injuries Lennon, Ulvestad, Pearce, Johnson, and Kashi. All our good 20 year olds are all out on loan, maybe will have to call some back.

mmmm .. any decent 'talent' in CAFC Ladies squad ?
Careful Lincs, you'll upset the pc brigade referring to ladies as 'talent' .
And we don't want Lincs to get in ANOTHER spat on here!
    don't fecking start mush !!

Those travelling should be congratulated for their persistence and support for the team at this very troubling time.

    300 is fantastic!

A meadow usually has long grass, a football pitch doesn't. Hope this explains why.

They used to employ an old bloke who'd row up and down the Severn in a cockleshell boat during matches to collect any balls that got kicked directly into the River.

The 1-1 game with Darren Anderson scoring, was that the game Kevin Dickinson crossed for him, i thought it may have been Halesey...Recall that game they scored after about 8 mins from Chic Bates and battered us thereafter but couldnt add to it..
  • Me and the better half driving up.
Leaving mid morning so enough time to numb the brain with grog before the match.
Only our 2nd away match this season and only my fifth game in total.
  • Addicted, that was a coracle, the old boys name was Fred Davies, his son took over when he gave up.

You must have something about you PBS if you can

    A) convince your better half to come to an away game

    b) get her to come to Shrewsbury on a Tuesday night

    C) do it under this shower of shit ownership

One of only two games in my football supporting career where I touched the match ball , iirc the ball went in to the river a couple of times

Oy oy, everyone gets a touch.

I wish you'd told me when this game was @ElfsborgAddick when we spoke, due to general disinterest I only worked it out this week and by then it was too late.

    Bugger.
