Worth mentioning Meaker and Batty slowing the run rate and taking them middle over wicket's to give TC the opportunity to do his thing at the end

Absolutly. Thought we had no chance until Meaker got both openers. Batty kept the pressure on by keeping it very tight and getting 2 in 2.

    Bowled well as a unit.

Nice. Must have been a good game to watch as all of ours have been this year. Before the game commentators were saying 200 would be par. I thought we were 40 short given how well Amir bowled. Terrific effort to defend that.

Totally agree. The general mood was that we were well short. They never really kicked on and I have to say, Batty came in and changed the game

Good interview that. Insightful into Sri Lanka's problems too.

So the London derby again tonight. This time we have home advantage. It's on Sky sports and apparently we have the pleasure (not) of both Warne and Flintoff commentating.

Unchanged squad although KP tweeted he was struggling with fitness and so is a doubt. I reckon they will play him if it's at all possible.

I'd completely forgotten about the attack on the team bus until they spoke about it - horrible thing to have gone through,

Interesting to hear his thoughts on life after he retires, all in all a great man and role model for the next generation of cricketers.

McCullum was superb last night, back in form

Watching the game tonight on tv with my old man who's been pretty ill so I'm gonna try and enjoy the time with him and not post too much on here. Unless he falls asleep!

I'll still give my post match assessment though! :)
