And yes, the ownership and regime are a shower of shit. Bottom line.

Far too many people are delusional in thinking they're doing anything to benefit the club and not themselves.

This player is trying to force through a move. It is not Charlton who are wanting to sell him.

That narrows it down a bit ;) - Can't see anyone not trying to engineer a move out of this circus!!
If it is true and it is Magennis, the only forward we have that can thrive in this system that would be pure Roland era gold.
    Thrive? He scored 9 goals...
    10, but point taken.

I don't think the bid for Konsa is a prem club but a championship one.

£3.5 mil for Konsa seems cheap if it is to a premiership club. Don't defenders start at £35mil?

I like Konsa, but 3.5 million is a very good price.

Shame that Konsa is so eager to move so quickly... Joe Gomez on the other hand only expressed interest in going once Liverpool had made an offer, same as Jonjo Shelvey etc.

Amos is under contract at Bolton until June 2019 so will cost a fee.

3.5m for Konsa is good business in my opinion, he's no Joe Gomez and I've not been particularly impressed with him in midfield although admittedly I feel he is better suited as a CH.

However we have the richest owner in our history and still can't hang on to a youngster.

However, with takeover talk still rumbling on in the background maybe this is Roland getting as much value out as he can before a sale. It's the hope that kills you.
  • If true then...
    £3.5M price.
We get 5% back to spend on the team, so £175K.
    Ben Amos, Clarke and Fosu.
Roland gets closer to break even.
We get closer to league two.

How does selling konsa take us closer to league 2?

£3.5 is not enough imo. He's going to be an awesome ball playing centre back. What did John Stones go for when he was younger - Konsa makes fewer mistakes than he did then and he just went for £46m

The money in the prem is ludicrous so £3.5 on a punt is peanuts

Any sale of Konsa for £3.5 million to a premiership club needs to have a very substantial sell on clause and so forth.
I think it is too cheap for the money in the Prem even if it is a lot of money for Roland.

But if it suits Roland& stuffs his overflowing coffers even more, then it will happen.

Erm by selling out best (and only) ball playing centre back, who is also our right back and centre mid cover, for peanuts and not investing any of the money.

    You're forgetting Naby "Beckenbauer" Sarr.

Don't think Amos would cost anything. Bolton want rid:

If we were selling to buy a top striker I could understand it. But for a goal keeper? There should be a few good ones looking for a loan next season from further up the food chain.

Flogging Konsa for £3.5million would be a dismal deal In the current market and one which would, yet again, underscore Duchatelet's complete lack of football ambition.
  • Amos would be a good signing, but not at the expense of Konsa.

Not happened yet and it seems odd that the source is hedging their bets by giving three names.

But Bowyer said Konsa might be going and Robinson said last week one or two might go. And a league 1 club selling its good young players, especially this one, isn't a surprise.

Didn't KR say last week that there wouldn't be anymore outgoings.

I don't think he knows whats going on anymore than we do! He chops and changes the amount of new signings and positions he wants every week.

Not massively bothered as I'm not sure he's anywhere near the standard of previous youngsters we've sold ala lookman, Gomez, Shelvey. It is however very concerning that people are still buying into the regimes bullshit when they continue to sell off our assets and refuse to reinvest in the team. Wake up people.

As I posted earlier, it is a rumour posted by somebody on Not606. When asked who it was he wouldn't say. The poster then put up three names Magennis, Holmes or Konsa, he replied it was one of those. I know nothing about it. Just passing on the information.

Been told this week from a good source that there is a firm offer of £3.5m for Konsa. Don't know from which club.
Would be very underpriced if true. It's always hard to know how these deals are structured and what is guaranteed versus add-ons, sell on clause, etc., but given the money in the game we should get twice that in my opinion.

Should have gotten a lot more for Joe Gomez than we did as well.

Hope we sell Konya for peanuts, it only goes straight into Roland's pocket - See Lookman

Dijksteel(spelling) looks a lot better defensive midfielder and I don't rate konsa at right back. I would prefer Barnes as back up. Is he a guaranteed starter at centre back ahead of Bauer and Pearce over a 46 game season? Konsa has a lot to learn and sellinghim will not mean relegation.

Agree it must be Konsa. If he's trying to push it through then I don't doubt it will happen.

£3.5 million isn't a bad price but only if the money is re invested which we know it won't be.

It would be if the £3.5m went to Robinson to spend on players and not in to Roly's bank account.
