That's entirely possible. I think it's quite clear KR has wanted him since January. IMO, the hold-up has been Reeves assessing his options and I reckon we are in pole position now.LargeAddick said:

You can argue that we have been waiting until January to sign him and yet it's still not happened but you could also argue other teams have had a couple of months to do a deal. That seems unlikely so I think he will be a Charlton player by the end of the week.1 -

You have no idea what Reeves and his agent may be asking for. He may well want a huge signing on fee and unrealistic weekly wages. That's what negotiation is all about.
Believe you me, I really rate this guy and want to see him signed, but not if his demands are unrealistic!6 -

When it comes to signings there are quite a lot of personal things to consider. I spoke to Billy Clarke in Limerick and he was still in the process of sorting a gaff, and he was mindful of when his family would be able to join him.

I agree, and it's a lot easier with a signing like Marshall who was a local lad. I don't blame him for that, we would all do the same and it's not like he's Zlatan or Neymar with hundreds of thousands each week on offer. It doesn't help though that we are 5 days away from our first game and he's going to be severely lacking in match fitness.2 -
