    So... It's the north basically?

    As with Wigan, their pitch was a state when they were in the Premier League, shudder to think what it's like now. These are the games that are hard for us. Expect them to sit deep on a shit pitch and try to launch balls over the top, as with Bury. Just need to dig something out today.

    won't help our tippy tappy sideways & backwards style of play. Also have a lot of players who like running with the ball (Fosu, Marshall, Mavvy) so I can see a lot of slipping & sliding happening.

    Best just to clear your lines, have 2 up top & let Mag head the ball down to the other forward. wont happen of course.

    Mavididi and Magennis linked up really well against Wallsall once Mac was moved into the middle. It was the best Mag has played in a long time. Besides sticking one in the back of the net he looked back to his best. I'd keep him in and keep that link with Mav. They interchanged really well with one dropping deeper or wheeling out wide and the other charging into the space. Centre backs couldn't handle it. I'd start with that combination. It's key to how we play and if we continue to build Josh's confidence and that's only a good thing for the team.

    Weather forecast for Blackpool has the heavy rain stopping and brighter weather until evening. Should go ahead if it has stopped before inspection.

    No rush to call it off. All the away supporters already travelled. Gotta give it a chance IMO.
