When you were asking on Twitter "Is anyone any good at French" is this the reason?
Because Dave Mehmet is on his way to your place.

Such a classy player...just training and giving advice? Or able to do a job? Hopefully, the latter!!29 -
Sign him up! Short term deal. Loved Diarra.21

I thought he was excellent for us, having him around should help Aribo, JFC etc.23
-
He could be 64 and I'd stil rather start him at CB than Lennon or Konsa. Sign him up20

Brilliant for the youngsters to learn from.
Hasnt played since the end of last season, if we sign him by the time he is match fit there might only be 5/6 games left0 -
As someone said on the twitter replies - He's not the trialist who was on the bench yesterday was he?
@bolloxbolder you were at the Stoke game weren't you?1 -
But Katrien told us he was retiring and gave him a lump sum to cancel his contract.
And then he signed for a French club the next day leaving her in a furious state and loudly saying she wouldn't pay (she did).
For that alone worth having him back. Plus he's a class player.59 -
Hate to say though but would he dislodge any of the players at his age that currently start (if everyone fit)
Regardless though, he'd be like Jackson, and a great option to get off the bench to see out a game2 -

While it's been a while since I've seen him play. I'd guess he is still better than anything we currently have.0

When do we ever have everyone fit? Be good to see him in the shirt again.ForeverAddickted said:Hate to say though but would he dislodge any of the players at his age that currently start (if everyone fit)

Great pro, but couldn’t/didn’t play many games the last few months he was with us so highly doubtful he could now - especially after areound 5+ months out0

Heard he was back at the club a few days ago. From what I gathered we are looking to agree a deal with him. Not sure how it would all work though.7

Slightly odd timing for him to come over now, seeing that he left Nancy at the end of last season. I wonder who instigated it?0

Always liked him at CB alongside Bauer, such a calm head and a proper footballer.6
-
apparently karl knows all about him - so were saved.2
-
Brilliant player. Hopefully can get game time as well.5

Can’t see him playing to much, but what a fantastic player to have back at the clubs, great role model for the young pro’s, next manager?3

As he has property in the area, perhaps he was just checking up on it and popped in to see old friends JJ etc. but then, I am very naivekillerandflash said:Slightly odd timing for him to come over now, seeing that he left Nancy at the end of last season. I wonder who instigated it?

Id have him until the end of the season and then have him as a Coach/player (if he wants that of course!)2

Imagine a management team of jacko, euell and Diarra - 18/19 season under new ownershipAveryAddick said:Can’t see him playing to much, but what a fantastic player to have back at the clubs, great role model for the young pro’s, next manager?
