I can confirm that, despite all your money, you are, indeed, a pile of poo!cantersaddick said:Sorry lads been drinking all day and playing ceixjet so don't really give a shit. Will check the score properly tomorrow.
Maybe we are shit.
Perhaps you could persuade one of your home grown heroes such as Sangakkarra to come out of retirement to help you out again.
And to save you the effort of checking the scorecard the margin of victory for the glorious Spitfires was a mere...........220 RUNS!2 -

We're concentrating on the league!!!!1

Its like Millwall v Charlton (Kent fans are a bit like Millwall anyway - they love a little gloat (on our thread) once a year, its the highlight of their season when they beat us).
Anyway, who's gonna be our opponents in the final?
PS... ....it wont be Kent.2 -
Judging by the table that might have to be next year.The_President said:Its like Millwall v Charlton (Kent fans are a bit like Millwall anyway - they love a little gloat (on our thread) once a year, its the highlight of their season when they beat us).

Hard to equate Surrey with Charlton considering Surrey's massive wealth, signing big international names like Morkel, Sanga and (before his injury) Kohli, or signing good players from other poorer counties (Stoneman, Borthwick)The_President said:Its like Millwall v Charlton (Kent fans are a bit like Millwall anyway - they love a little gloat (on our thread) once a year, its the highlight of their season when they beat us).

Kent on the other hand have had financial problems and lousy management and rely on home grown players and cheap signings. Plus very season we lose players to other counties. Much more like Charlton3 -
And yet we still have more home grown players in the first team than you and indeed in the squad. Good try but I'm not having that.killerandflash said:

To be fair you have half of London to get into your academy whereas Canterbury is a lot more isolated.0

In terms of results re Charlton v Millwall it is - and also Kents fanbase is a bit 'basic' - as proved over the past few days.killerandflash said:

They're still basking in the glow of a win !0 -
Yeah, didn't understand this - this would mean us coming 3rd? - and I read somewhere that just the top 3 go through ? - How can you have 4 quarters with only 6 teams? - or is there some new scheme whereby the best 2 of the rest qualify?MrOneLung said:So you need us to beat Essex, Hampshire to beat Somerset and for you to beat Glamorgan to get through.
Also don't understand how we can be above Glou where they have a far superior RR ? - unless , of course, that's done on head to head.?0 -
Best third place finishers (run rate) I thinkThe_President said:

2nd and 3rd go through to the quarters where they'll play the 3rd and 2nd place team from the other league. The 2nd place teams being at home
Weird way of doing it, but when do the ECB ever make things obvious!
