    Croatia look like they could be a dark horse, for the semis least. If they come up against Spain or Portugal in the quarters they would give either a tough game.

    embarrassing by Argentina. one of the worst performances by them ive ever seen.

    also very poor by the Argentina players going straight down the tunnel and not really acknowledging the thousands of fans that have travelled half the world to see them.

    I'm not talking about what he has done before i'm talking about now. The guy is supposed to be their captain - what did he do to rally the troops? getting his players by the scruff of the neck or even trying a surging run to boost the players around him? No he sulked in the centre circle for 25 minutes and fell over a bit. He is a terrible international captain, and he hasn't stood up for his team at all. Not four years ago, now.

    one of the players I really like in that Croatian side is Mandzukic. bloke just gives his all the whole time he's out there. does the same for Juve where he mainly plays closer to the wing. he's not the best forward but its all the other stuff he does during the game. never gives the defence a break.
