    Zidane was a midfielder. Giroud is a forward.
    So is Benzema who's on less than that handsome devil Giroud, and yet I imagine most would opt for the former if given a choice.
    Many are attracted to Giroud's beard and it is clouding their judgement.

    After tonight's 1st 65 minutes I personally think it does not matter who we meet IF we get there. Both good teams very good, final a bit of lottery, luck etc.

    France do look a little more in control though and maybe look like getting the 2nd.


    But this world cup is full of surprises....

    Just want Belgium to score in last minute to go to extra time

    Two years ago France froze in the final against Portugal in the Euro's, they look improved since then. Plus they now have the wonder kid Mbappe.

    I think that both look miles better than us. But one off game if we get there etc.

    France look good at the back and Mbappe is quality.
