Don't think there's any need to declare tonight, particularly given that Clarke, Morkel and Sam Curran have all batted for quite a while.2 -

What a performance this is turning out to be!
To bowl first and then have them all out and be in the lead with a batting bonus point by the end of the first day is brilliant. To then back it up by seeing off the tough morning session on day 2 and capitalising layer in the day is brilliant. Exceptional as always from burns but we expect nothing less. I'd be more surprised if he was to get out cheaply.
Sam and Clarke really took the game away from them both with their runs but more importantly their run rate. To pass 50p before the 110 over mark (deadline to pass 40p for max batting bonus points) is unbelievable. To score nearly 600 and be 380 ahead with time left on day 2..... madness. No idea what to say.
Great that we got 1 before the close. Both days it's been much harder to bat in the morning so if we get a few early who know what might happen.
I am a firm believer of winning in 3 days to give players (particularly the bowlers) extra rest days to stay fit. Helps building winning momentum.8 -
