Freddie Van Den Bergh was at Bickley when my eldest son was there. He's been at Surrey for 15 years I think and now making his T20 debut at the age of 26.
Oi you ain't allowed to not hug me. Just got home from a very good night at the cricket surrounded by my Charlton buddies. Win some lose some well played Kent. See you soon Fanny. Roland out.

I was at Hove tonight. The score flattered Sussex. The turning point was Finch’s second ball where he gave a fairly simple caught & bowled to Archer who put it down. He went on to score 131 not out hogging nearly two thirds of the balls delivered. Sussex started terribly so it was a non contest.
Curran who got smashed all over the place in the same fixture last year bowled well.
Burns captains a lions side taking on India A. It's impressive he's been made captain given it's his debut and the amount of experience in the side. Unfortunately he got out for 5 while the ball was nipping around first thing and wasn't there to capitalise when things got easier. Cook gubbins and Malan got runs. Hopefully Pope and Sam can cash in today.
310-2 overnight.

Surrey are playing the Windies A in a friendly. We have put out a pretty strong side - all first team players and a fair bit of international experience. Looks slightly weak on batting with TC (making his return from a side strain and captioning the side) at 6. Note the guest appearance of former Surrey 2nd 11 player Rouse who now plays in some small league for a team called Kent! He is appearing for us as we have somehow run out of keepers!!! (Pope and Burns with the lions, Foakes rested and it seems Smith not considered ready for the first steamin red ball stuff just yet, the rest of our keepers have either moved on or retired in the last couple of years.
We finished the day on 309-8 Borthwick 153 not out, Patel 47 and Rouse 36.

Bloody trains, now I know how Canters feels every morning!!!!
Hope Blackpool's ok!!!!!
I'd give him a big hug if I was there !
168/5 1 over to go
Kent looked like getting 200+ with Denly and Kuhn, not sure we have the batting to chase that down.
130/3 after 12
Not great at the end :-(
