So I wonder who bowyer meet yesterday then ??0
-
O’Kane is the player that Bowyer said about if they don’t go to a championship club, they will be coming to us. If he is going to sign, it won’t be until around 29th/30th so it is just something we have to hope and be patient for.
Cullen I believe is the player we are closer to signing and hopefully West Ham agree to the amount we can offer for the loan.
I think it’s those two and a forward/winger type we are after. Whether we get all three is another matter.3 -
Are Cullen and O'Kane both midfielders? I'd be delighted but surprised if we signed 2 midfielders on loan2
-
I imagine Bowyer sees Cullen as the number 10 type player to come in for Morgan/Lapslie. O'kane is more of defensive midfield type player so would be fighting it out with Aribo and Pratley for a starting berth.killerandflash said:Are Cullen and O'Kane both midfielders? Aribo should be playing further forward than that7

I really like Bowyer. Under better circumstances at a normal club, I think he'll be a decent manager. Hopefully, that can be at Charlton eventually11

If he manages to bring Cullen in, he could miss games in September playing for Ireland under 21 on 7th and 11th, Wimbledon at home on the 4th? and Wycombe at home on the 8th1

Bradford fans on Cullen

Agreed, he's not a battling midfielderLeuth said:Aribo should be playing further forward than that
The No 10 situation is a a short(ish) term problem, with Reeves back to full fitness by mid September and Clarke likely by October/November. The Central Midfield situation is a season long one with the loss of JFC0 -
bloody hell we are down the swannee without a paddle if we are relying on Reeves to sort a problem outkillerandflash said:

For the 2nd year running Reeves has missed Pre-season. He’ll be playing catch up again and I worry we’ll never see them h player he could be9
-
Well if Cullen is coming looks like it is too late to play tomorrow!0
-
Apparently done and dusted5

We might have submitted papers before 12pm but waiting till we've done pictures etc to post on the OS0

Unless the deal has been completed in the background and they're keeping it quiet for as long as possible to surprise Fleetwood tomorrow, same with how they tried to surprise everyone with Jake Forster-Caskey being injured1
-
Maybe Bowyer being an ex West Ham player helped seal the deal?0

Cullen in. Leeds want Eunan to come to Charlton, they are the ones feeding the Press. He turned down Bolton because he thought he would get a better offer from Champ. He may still end up at the Valley29

Excellent news about O’Kane, hopefully he does end up at Charlton.Redhenry said:Cullen in. Leeds want Eunan to come to Charlton, they are the ones feeding the Press. He turned down Bolton because he thought he would get a better offer from Champ. He may still end up at the Valley
Is Cullen in a done deal or still awaiting that to be finalised?
These two plus one more.1 -
Just told he was coming6
-
Thanks. I am assuming as we haven’t officially announced it, he won’t be available to play tomorrow, but at least he would have a weeks worth of training and be ready for Southend away.Redhenry said:Just told he was coming
We could have a different looking squad come that game. Cullen, maybe O’Kane, one other hopefully, Vetokele, Fosu, Reeves, Pearce, then suddenly we have options.3 -
This one and maybe one more if your lucky.Sage said:

IF we were to sign both Cullen and O'Kane then Bielik will have to be played as a CB as we would suddenly have a load of CM's and a lack of FB's, CB's and wingers.
Would definitely like to see a winger signed as Marshall is cack.0 -
I can't see cullen signed to play toms as surely it would of been announced by now0
