Hard to practice what you preach when anger and self preservation kicks in.MuttleyCAFC said:I must admit, it looked like Fosu got up quickly in anger at the kick and caught his head, intent is hard to prove, but we can never be sure and no way we can appeal. I always tell my son that if you are punched or kicked on the football pitch, stay down and make a meal of it - that is the way you punish the player who has done it. That is the part Italian in me, but Fosu needs to learn that as it won't be the only time a player with his talent is kicked!

The southend player that got sent off, was he actually sent off for kicking Fosu on the ground or for cheating when just falling on the floor like a sack of potatoes presenting to be hit?, i don't know how many days a week he actually trains on the falling over part but it clearly isn't working and needs to spend more time at rehearsals.0

In my opinion, Grant has had a legitimate goal disallowed for offside in each of the last two games. Real shame, as I'm sure he'd be even more confident with those under his belt.1

Surely this means then that Fosu can play then... He's a first teamer who isnt suspended if this doesnt count towards the three gameskillerandflash said:
Should just play him and hopefully get kicked out the competition for fielding an ineligible player12 -

A well-deserved place for Krystian Bielik! #cafc4

So there is some justice in the football world after all - so pleased pie-face Evans and his odious sidekick will hopefully get their just rewards. It's called 'karma'.ForeverAddickted said:
You should listen to his interview after the game... All I can say is prepare to be gobsmacked as he complains about the Referee's decisions!!addick05 said:
Spot on! Pair of complete tossers, pleased they both got red cards. Evans and his sidekick are a disgrace.iaitch said:While on the subject of red cards, Steve Evans and his assistant both got one yesterday, couldn't have happened to a nicer couple.
Bloke should never be allowed to complain again about the officials after the game at the Valley

Hard if you lack discipline, but part of Fosu's learning. And i'm sure he will learn from it.Dazzler21 said:

Didn’t go to the game, but that’s an excellent win! From the tv footage it looks like all three had to go. As echoed before, wtf was the keeper thinking of racing around throwing haymakers?! Nutter! Things are looking up with the recent signings and a positive result. COYA1

One made up by idiots who think a bad owner is one that buys his players a burger after a game & not one that withdraws them bottled water.Covered_End_Lad said:
What kind of a fucking rule is that?killerandflash said:
As a previous poster said - just play him & then take the fine for fielding a player that played the previous game & is not banned for his then red card.1 -
Fabulous atmosphere, good team performance with plenty of spirit and the right result. The best thing was that even when they equalised, no-one seemed dispirited, it was just a minor set-back on what felt like an assured victory. The worst thing was that we didn't test their makeshift keeper. Some poor refereeing, but all three reds were correct.2

I recall an earlier post where somebody said defensively we look strong, but we still can't hold a lead. I agree with this relative to our level, and whilst it was a great result, it is something we have to sort out! I suppose you could argue we have held a lead twice this season, but it feels to me it has to be a late lead for it to happen. I'm confident Bowyer can sort this out, but it needs working on!1
