2-1, Henry strikes
You know Kent will bowl well, and that Northants will probably be bowled out cheaply, but we need batting points as well2 -
18-2, Henners strikes again.0

20-3, Stevo joins the fun.1

A third for Henry.
Is it poor batting all round, excellent bowling or the pitch?
Will we be facing a points deduction to make absolutely certain we finish third?0 -
If 20 wickets go down today, it would hardly be a surprise if we are docked points.LenGlover said:A third for Henry.

That's my query. It looks likely we may yet end up batting again today. What sort of wicket have we prepared and can we be reported for it? At least our batting figures will suggest it's more a lack of prowess than a cabbage patch wicket.0

With the exception of our match against Gloucester earlier in the season and with Derby last week, when we smashed over 500 in the first innings, our games have produced low first innings totals for both sides regardless of where they've been played.
Today seems to be no different to the rest of the season, hopefully the result is the same!0 -
Henry in our win last week 1-121
This match 4-13 so far
That jet lag has a lot to answer for!0 -

Northants now 25-5, Henners bags a fourth W.
Northants will be pleased that they held Kent to 137 as it means they can't be asked to follow-on!0 -
At Taunton, Lancs 99 all out, Somerset 82-6. It could be a race to see where 20 wickets fall first...
When a spinner (Leach) takes 5-28 on the first day, you've got a helpful surface!0 -
Henry now has 54 wickets @ 14.9 - and he's missed 5 of our matches!2

Sussex 219-6 (64 ov) v Leics
Gloucs 150-4 (64 ov) v Middlesex
Latest score:

Amazing stats when you consider how unimpressive his Test stats are (25 wickets at 46.5). I'm sure they'll start to improve nowAddick Addict said:Henry now has 54 wickets @ 14.9 - and he's missed 5 of our matches!

39-7, 5 for Henry.4

Somerset 106-8, where can 20 wickets fall first!0

Just to be clear. We are playing on the pitch today and not in the car park?0
-
Sounds like when we bat later tonight we could be in trouble. Could do with a bad light stopped play.0

Six for Henners, Northants 48-8.
Looks like only a matter of time before we secure the third bowling point.0 -
Someone get down there and sabotage the floodlights quickly!bolloxbolder said:Sounds like when we bat later tonight we could be in trouble. Could do with a bad light stopped play.

We've only used TWO bowlers so far, that's ridiculous0
-
Bad light has indeed stopped play0

Bad light stopped play
71-80 -
In the context of a low scoring game this partnership is annoying and we need to break it.0
-
Now officially 71-8 at the close0

Mad day of cricket. If there is a danger of docked points, what’s the precedent?0

22 wickets fallen so far in Taunton, with Lancashire 7-2 in their SECOND innings!Callumcafc said:Mad day of cricket. If there is a danger of docked points, what’s the precedent?
Pretty poor weather will be the Kent excuse I'm sure0 -

Yes both these examples are from a few years back but there is a precedent.0
