The ECB will deliberate for a while, examining all the evidence from the umpires, captains, any available video.Callumcafc said:Mad day of cricket. If there is a danger of docked points, what’s the precedent?
If there's still a chance Kent will be promoted we'll get a points deduction.
I think that's how it works ...11 -
I know only 3 of the wickets, but seems like good bowling rather than poor pitch for these ones!3 -
Embedded fine for me! Thanks for sharing.0

Canterbury must be the only ground in the country where T20 scores are greater than CC scores. Or, is that a misconception on my part?1
-
They're just out. All of them. So, so very out.2

We can't get deducted points for batsmen playing all round straight deliveries!Addickted2TheReds said:They're just out. All of them. So, so very out.
Or can we ... ?0 -
Feel sorry for anyone who has bought tickets for the 4th day, or even the third0

The pitch looks fine in that video clip

Was hoping Leics was going to hold out for a draw, but that looks very unlikely with them being 8/3 against Sussex0
-
It rained steadily last night and early this morning in Kent.
I'll be surprised if there is any play before lunch and I wouldn't be altogether surprised if there is no play today unless it brightens up a bit.
Dipped headlight weather today.0 -
9/4 !?!Stewart said:Was hoping Leics was going to hold out for a draw, but that looks very unlikely with them being 8/3 against Sussex

Covers are coming off and players warming up.0

They took an early lunch and play will start at 1:00 pm assuming the light does not deteriorate any further and there is no further rain.1

Just wanted to let you know that the rain has NOTHING to do with me.....
Come on Kent !!!2 -
It's not as if we'll struggle to complete the match anyway...0

Oliver Robinson of Sussex (our former player and Farbrace's stepson as opposed to our current Oliver Robinson) returned figures of 33-5-156-4 for Bickley CC in the KPL this season.
This morning's return for Sussex against Leics is 7-3-12-5 and he has taken 58 wickets in the CC at 17.43 all told.
The batsmen are clearly better in the KPL than the CC!0 -
Leics now 20-5, Leg byes top scorer with 80
-
They're underway at Canterbury.
73-80 -
And they’re off. Bad light stopped play.1
-
Why do they bother with floodlights if they go off for bad light anyway?
What is the point?2 -
Leics 29-6

Leics making a real go of it at 43-7
