Jamal Kashoggi
A senior police source told online news website Middle East Eye the journalist had been "brutally murdered, killed and cut into pieces".
"Everything was videotaped to prove the mission had been accomplished and the tape was taken out of the country," they said.
A friend of Mr Khashoggi, Galip Dalay, told Sky News that he "personally got the news that he was killed two days ago".
Saudi authorities however have rejected the allegations as "baseless" and said a team of investigators had been sent to the Turkish city to help look into the case.
He went into the consulate, but there is no footage of him leaving. Not sure how the Saudi's think they can get away with this.

This story has gone a bit under the radar but his disappearance is starting to cause waves with the Saudis threatening, in response to Trump's threat if they don't come clean, to "match any action with a bigger one".1 -

it was "rogue killers" that somehow made their way into the saudi embassy and then mysteriously puffed out into thin air, that's what i can get from the president of the united states.6

he was very foolish to enter the embassy, even in a neutral country, of the state which he had fled .. another example of an arrogant totalitarian state getting away with murder0

The Saudis are basically saying that it's a complete coincidence that a team of Saudi experts, including a forensics specialist, arrived in the middle of the night on a private jet and left the same day. That Khashoggi went into the consulate, leaving his fiance outside, and then forgot to go back to her when he left (or for 2 weeks and counting afterwards). That the Saudi team were seen at or around the consulate (in which all non-Saudi staff had been given the afternoon off) and at the house of the consul general (whose staff had been told not to come in that day). All a massive coincidence and not at all a pre-meditated state execution. I'm sure the Saudis were just in Istanbul to see its famous cathedral...5

Trump's not the only one who'll be doing a bit of sweeping though. Just watch how strenuous we are about this compared to the Russian's tourist visit to Salisbury. I get this is horrific but maybe I missed a bit of this story.
Why is Trump getting involved? WTF is it to do with America? Why is it front page news everywhere?
People die and disappear all the time so I’m not quite so sure why this is global front page news.
