    I’m really sorry to those who wanted us to progress but I’m pleased we’re out .
    Yes it does help with players coming back and kids a bit of experience but I’m a football snob and that is a shit trophy for lower league teams and fucking Prem u-21s ffs and I don’t like us being in it .

    Assuming we don’t go up are we allowed to opt out of this embarrassment of a competition next year?

    I mean seriously 740 fans to watch Swansea U23 take on our kids, we must lose money staying that and none of the players get any real benefit except maybe Clarke.

    Brilliant brilliant night. 2 mates didn't come meaning the 740 attendance was the lowest ever for a Charlton home league game beating the previous low of 741.
    I was there & they were not. Brilliant. :smiley:
