AS Roma can confirm head coach Eusebio Di Francesco has left the club with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Eusebio for his work during his time at #ASRoma and wish him success in the future.

Talk before yesterday if they lost he was gone. No real surprise, they've been leaking goals for fun in some games.

Sarri won't go anywhere whilst Chelsea are still in the Europa league and chasing top 4.

Darren Moore sacked by West Brom. Poor draw at home to Ipswich today but 4th in the table. Seems very harsh indeed at face value.
  • Crazy decision. 4th in the table with 10 games to go and pretty much a cert for the play offs where anything can happen. You only have to look at the mess Swansea and Stoke are making of going straight back up and see huge clubs like Villa sitting in the bottom half of the table and Sunderland in league one to see how well he was doing.

Do West brom's owners think they have some kind of divine right to win the league?

No new manager is going to come in and suddenly make up 9 points on the top 2 over the remaining games, so what's the point in getting rid now?
  • Seemed to be doing a decent job.  Wonder if anything happened behind the scenes.

I actually forgot West Brom existed. I hear the news and I am like "Ohhh, yeaaaahh, West Brom! What league are they in?"

Put like that it sounds harsh.

Can't beat Ipswich? You get what you deserve.

Unless there was something that happened intenally that is a stupid sacking.

It doesn't appear so. Seems the owner just expects automatic and after 3 games without a win has panicked. Like i said a few posts up, i don't think any manager is likely to go in there and make up 11 points on Norwich or 9 points on Leeds over 10 games.

They'd realistically need to get 28 points minimum from their 10 games and hope Leeds or Sheffield utd implode.

Weird timing, especially when looking at the table too. The automatics are surely out of reach, while the playoffs looked reasonably likely anyway

Apparently he’s been close to the sack since November 2nd. Very similar to Huddersfield sacking Lee Clark and replacing him with Grayson the season we won the league.

Rowett to WBA ? continue his midlands tour .. Moore ? .. ever since Barnes went back to Leicester, WBA have looked mediocre .. their form is poor despite their position in the table .. look more likely to drop out rather than maintain a promotion hope .. I am not surprised, Moore always seemed to be a stopgap manager
  • Looks as though Solari has been sacked @ Real Madrid

Some bloke called Zidane to replace him

"In the short period since I took on the role it unfortunately became clear that I would not be able to operate as I intended and was led to believe prior to taking on the role."

Interesting choice of words there. Something going on behind the scenes? Tactical emails from the owner, perhaps?
