    Vetokele: 8.5 - Really deserved his goal, not just after today yet for recent performances

    Referee: 5 - Very poor, gave a penalty that I didnt think was, ignored a penalty that wasnt, gave a red card at least but maybe should have given one earlier

    Phillips: 7 Not at fault for the goal. A couple good saves
    Solly: 6 Got forward a few times but not a lot to do

    Sarr: 8.5 Bigger UNIT
    Purrington: 6.5 Actually got forward a couple times today 
    Bielik: 7 Scary seeing a man that big going forward like he does 
    Cullen: 8 Quality above League 1
    Aribo: 7 Didn't see much of him until the last 30 or so. Ran his tail off
    Williams: 7.5 Never stopped running. Amazing skill
    Taylor: 8.5 Such a pest for defenders. Wish he hadn't got himself booked but he was a menace!
    Vetokele: 9 MOM He was everywhere! Would have been criminal if he hadn't scored today. Last few games he's been amazing
    Referee: 3 Shite. So many soft fouls given. The first challenge on Williams looked more like a penalty today. Not his best day

    Phillips -7.5 some great saves and no chance for their goal . Should hold onto the ball rather than parry it more often and gamble a bit more on flying out for crosses Manuel Neuer style to collect a free kick for a foul and bust a few centre forwards ‘ noses with his knees or when he does decide to punch the ball.

    Solly - 7.5 defended well first half but some disappointing crosses that were not low and hard . Second half great display and kept  their strike force very quiet 


    Bauer 7.5 - strong and reliable snuffed everything out second half in particular 


    Sarr 8.5 - reads  game very well and looks effortless . A couple of stray passes but in cruise control most of the time . An absolute man mountain and must be very frustrating to play against one on one as he lets nothing pass . 

    Purrington 8 - very efficient without being too flashy . Good to see him win so many headers that were crucial second half in stopping so many attacks at source . Accurate passing to get Williams and Aribo away . Caught upfield for their goal but that was his only error today .

    Bielik 9 - Suoerb performance . Was everywhere putting himself on the line and starting many good things . Way too good for their midfield and bossed the match . Took two in the groin area and kept going .


    Cullen 8.5 - snapped into tackles and very lively . Great engine and commitment . Some nice short passing too . Very reassuring presence . 

    Williams 8 - first half he wasn’t really in it as much as he should have been and too narrow . Second half very skilful and threatening . A couple of horrible tackles on him should have been punished more heavily the first of which deserved a straight red but which wasn’t given . Looked like he played for the penalty that wasn’t given and that perhaps might have been but didn’t get booked for diving so that suggests that the ref had a rabbit in the headlights moment and that it probably should have been given .


    Aribo 7.5 - a bit lost in the first half and reactions were not quick enough . Second half much better and some real class . Thought that their no 7 was the better of the two playmakers in the first half but Aribo definitely the best in the second half 

    Vetokele 8 - great runs and tireless work . Just not quite sharp enough or with that extra quarter yard of pace to see him away from desperate challenges. Second half he ran their defence ragged and what a finish and cross over a two minutes to kill the game off . 

    Taylor 8.5 - what a handful . Great work rate and kept their defence occupied for the entire game . Very professional for the penalty that looked a bit soft and very calm shot to score . Great finish also from open play . Not sure about the barristers’ wig though .he might want to re think that .

    ref-3 rubbish decisions in first half including obvious red for their goalkeeper that was not given and some shocking tackles on Williams that should have seen more cards . Second half looked like he bottled the first penalty appeal from Williams and that played on his mind for the slight shove in the back on Taylor that looked like a soft one .

    Phillips: 6.5 won't like being beaten at his near post and his kicking is still shite, clawed at a couple of their crosses too
    Solly: 7 motored about and made a nuisance of himself at times, took an age to track back a couple of times though
    Bauer: 7.5 had a decent if unspectacular game
    Sarr: 8 man mountain, makes 1v1 tackling look like a pro footballer nicking the ball off a toddler
    Purrington: 7.5 nice forward bursts
    Bielik: 8.5 must have glass bollocks but everything else about him is outstanding
    Cullen: 8 solid footballer does the right thing nearly every time
    Aribo: 8.5 came alive in the second half
    Williams: 8 his direct running caused them so many problems
    Taylor: 9 a delight to watch at times, makes the nasty stuff look good
    Vetokele: 8.5 his partnership with Taylor is starting to pay off, couldn't be happier for him
    Referee: 4 should have been a sending off in the first half, bought in to their posturing and play acting, then didn't give a stone wall penalty but then gave a very soft one straight after, bizarre
