Going to be really interesting this, because Allen is incredibly easy to hit and Price throws bombs. But Price's chin is also extremely suspect

Apparently the sanctions for Miller failing THREE different doping tests is a 6 month ban, back dated to March.

he can fight again in October.

    disgraceful

Priceys size is a huge factor plus I am unsure dave actually believes in himself yet

pricey is the hardest puncher in that division currently problem is his timing and accuracy is shit as is his stamina

dave if he can come in at 17 stone should be able to move enough to drain big pricey

Allen’s movement against Browne in the first two rds was terrible but in the third it was brilliant and his timings ace

Allen with another body shot to close the fight rds 6-8

Joshua confirmed against Ruiz. Must admit, I'd never heard of him

Just read up on Ruiz, seems he's only fought 40 year old dustmen. Parker only decent opponent recently, and lost to him. What a fight this will be!

He got taken the distance last year by Kevin Johnson who was laid out in 2 rounds by Joshua a few years back.

Eddie Hearn chatting his usual bollocks:

“I like Andy Ruiz, I wanted someone who’s not taking just the payday, who believes he can win, who will do everything to win.

All you’ve gotta do is speak to people in boxing or people who know boxing, they will tell you. Everything I’ve seen on social media is, ‘This is a tougher fight than Jarrell Miller.’

It’s a similar fight to Jarrell Miller other than Andy’s got much quicker hands and punches harder. I think it’s a really credible fight. Mexico could have their first world heavyweight champion.

Anyone paying for that wants their heads read.

Joshua being played somewhat by Fury and Wilder. He needs one of those fights.

I actually think his best bet now might be another bout with Whyte.

Bit of a joke ain’t it? Had to check that it’s not April 1st instead of May 1st.

In my opinion a fight with Whyte would be the toughest option compared to Wilder or Fury.

I can't blame AJ (or, holds breath, Hearn) - both would much prefer Wilder or Fury as his opponent, and it's their big pay day as well. Boxing and politics, twas ever thus.

Ruiz is a tougher fight than miller. He probably beat Parker but it was home town judges in that fight. Also I have never seen Ruiz even wobbled let alone hurt in a fight.

    Ruiz did imo beat Parker

however the only way this was even a contest is if Ruiz had stayed in the gym between fights and had done a full 12-16 wk camp

to even suggest a Ruiz with a 5 wk camp can lace a glove on AJ is disrespectful to the max to the champ

Hearn is again, taking the piss. He knew Joshua would attract a load of Essex boys booking flights and trips to NY regardless

Ruiz is an ok heavyweight but the first time Joshua hits him he will fold. I've had my suspicions about Miller purely down to the amount of punches he throws at the weight and size he is is unnatural and Hearn will have known this more than me and most other people for that matter

This will lead to another Whyte bout over here and again the fights everyone who appreciates boxing, wants to see will be further delayed or just won't happen

I saw Ruiz fight not long ago, I was having a booze that went on till early hours and he was on the box. That must have only been a few weeks ago So he can’t have been out of camp that long really.
I think it’s a better opponent than Miller who is in my opinion a shit bag.

Still be surprised if it goes past 6 rounds.

I quite fancied a trip to NY for this. But then again, I am from Essex...

He is a Mexican version of Hatton only in the heavier weight

he absolutely balloons in between fights and although he may have only fought weeks ago you can bet up until Miller got caught he hadn’t been near a gym in between

he will be a very flabby fighter still in 5 weeks there is just no time to do the cardio needed to compete with AJ

if if he was a better fight than miller then 100% he would’ve been the original pick

Fight of the year tomorrow night (Sunday morning!) - and it's not PPV!

I have it a lot closer than the bookmakers (oh hang on a minute - I'm one of those!) and 7/2-4/1 for Jacobs is having my shilling or two.

I so hope Danny Boy wins - come on Miracle Man!

Huge Jacobs fan and hope he does it.

Personally feel he edged the Golovkin fight.

Can't help but think he is 4 rounds down already against Canelo.

There's a 2 part documentary called 40 days on the DAZN Youtube channel, great watch.

Jacobs is an impressive guy and I hope he does the business!

That's the reason the odds are so big - he will have to school Canelo for 12 rounds to get a draw, and it will almost certainly go the distance.

He is an impressive guy - and based on my personal experience with him he is first and foremost a very, very decent human being.

Hope Jacobs does it, only heard good things about him, mainly on here from @bobmunro but you don’t forget stories like the one bob shared about Jacobs and his son.

He needs a stoppage though as he has no chance on points
