All credit to 21 year old Louis Heathcote, his 1st ever match as a pro player and he beats Ryan Day to qualify for the Riga Masters
He was in a pool tour the weekend aswell , scrap that he forfeited his match was supposed to be in the Leicester tour event 2. I do see him pop up in a few but surprisingly hasn't really run deep in any.
Forget to update the last few days so will just do it all together

The Riga masters doesnt take place till 26th July and the last remaining qualifiers will take place at The Venue like normal.
But Snooker continues tomorrow with more Qualifying matches, this time for the International Championship(which takes place 4th August) so 4 more days of matches to see who will earn a place in Daqing.

Now I have given alot of credit to Louis Heathcote and rightly so, 2 matches as a pro and 2 wins against Day and Saengkham.
However Chang Bingyu also deserves alot of credit, he is the second youngest player on tour and doesnt turn 17 until August, he has also won 2 from 2 and qualified for both events beating Ian Burns and Michael Georgiou

Not snooker, but watching the world cup of 9 ball pool on sky. What the hell has happened to Tony Drago. Doesn't look like the same guy. He's lost so much weight.
Massive massive problems ahead of The Riga Masters which starts tomorrow.
Big issues with flights today, debris on a runway then a storm has stopped flights, a load of players having to drop out including defending champ Neil Robertson.
@WorldSnooker won’t re schedule any matches so unfortunately my defence of the Riga masters will go unopposed. Was debris on the on the run way after a private jet landed delaying the flight for a few hours and then the storms came. No flights in the morning to make my 11am😢
Interestingly Rob Milkins, who was due to play Neil Robertson, is also one of the players stranded, so with World Snooker refusing to move the match, I am assuming Ben Woollaston will get an automatic bye to the last 32
Joke really, they really should be doing something. Its different if its 1 or 2 players but there is around 10+ and spectators, includes Kyren Wilson, I forget who else. I do understand they are in a bit of a lose/lose situation because of the rest have arrived early or might have only booked in for a certain amount of time.
Normally I would say what more can they do? but its a ranking event, points at stake so it could impact the whole season, there might be a few who qualified who don't normally play many events who are affected too.

Seen people on twitter blaming Robertson for example on his post above for travelling the night before.
These people need to remember he has a fiancee and a young baby, so he cant always travel days before an event.

Has he been ill?
Funnily I saw him play when he was about 17 and he was thin as a rake. A few years later on TV he was twice the size.

quite funny that
World snooker confirmed 33 mins ago Ben Woolaston advances to round 2 with a bye , also said they were putting 3-3
