I think that he was very considerate. Did you ever see the rivers of urine on the terraces. The rain helps wash it away quicker. 😀Simonsen said:guinnessaddick said:

Only really ever saw it at Millwall at the back of the old side terrace. The "Swimming and Diving Club" as they called it.....0 -
He might’ve bought her a cup of tea, at least.Simonsen said:guinnessaddick said:

She didn't have time for a cup of tea. She had to get home to put the washing through the mangle and clean the coal shed with a toothbrush. 😳_MrDick said:

Remember going on the coaches when Bill was the organiser would of been 1980-82, once I left school I only ever went away by train.blackpool72 said:

Bill was a good bloke but a bit like Murray his "I wish they would just bulldoze the Valley to the ground so we can concentrate on the football" Quote in the dark Sellhurst years led to him losing a lot of my respect.blackpool72 said:

Is that bill treagold or whatever his name was who used to run coaches for the supporters club?Henry Irving said:B mob
is the other fella wally his sidekick
Every time my lot got on his coach he used to greet us by saying.
I hope you boys are going to behave today.
Of course we will Bill we replied.
And sometimes we actually did.
Happy days .
Wally was a legend. I believe he died as he got off the coach at Sunderland in November 1997? Always remember him telling me throughout the 70 and 80s that Les Berry was never a footballer .
Regarding Bill I never knew he came out with that comment.
But even so I won't let it cloud my memory of the man.0 -

It's for sale. CAFC should buy it, fill it with pictures from 1930s to 1950s and use it to house academy boys.SuedeAdidas said:It’s just round the corner from me......this is it now (courtesy of Google Streetview)0 -
