Wasn’t sure about posting negativity when the football side is going so well. Met an old Charlton player last night who is a mate of LB. He didn’t ask not to be named, but I think best not to. Apparently Lee isn’t getting on too well with the owner at the moment. The owners complete lack of interest as well as the fact he is rarely available is causing problems. He thinks the frustration will boil over at some stage if there is no change in attitude from Duchatelet or the club is sold. I know this is probably not ground breaking information, but I thought it worth posting. If this sale doesn’t go through we will lose Bowyer.

Let me rephrase that for you......If the sale doesn’t go through, we MAY lose Bowyer.

Let me correct you as to what I think will happen. We WILL lose Bowyer.

Have you got the lottery numbers for this coming weekend?
@Redmidland I honestly don't know. He's paranoid about saying anything, so getting even this much info out of him unusual. I think dealing with Roland for so long has had an attritional effect.
James if this Aussie consortium ever buys Charlton I would love to meet you and buy you drinks all night. But I doubt it will ever happen as I think you are being fed information.
I would love to be proved 100% wrong.
Yes I am being fed information, but only because they're trying to buy the club, and Roland is frustrating them. And yes, you can buy me drinks all night if they buy the club :-) Although I'd probably pass out after about three pints.
If Off It tries to buy you lobster and pina colada, walk away.
Well it was fun whilst it lasted. Thing is in a years time I bet he was wishing he took this deal. Club will never be worth more under him than right now.

I highly doubt we’ll be sold this season. Fans seem to have given up protesting (not a dig at CARD) and Roland is due to make a profit this season, meaning he can wait for as long as he likes for the dream deal he’s looking for
If the rat does see the potential of the promised land why has he failed to tie anyone down to a LT contract/put in a bit of cash to actually get us there..cause we are close to reaching it. Guess January will tell but I'm not getting my hopes up

Where's the flag button?
And the last time I set foot in my beloved Valley.

"No, please no, show the photo of me shagging a donkey, anything but that photo with Roland, PLEASE"
Can't say which source supplied the info, but apparently RD was impossible to deal with, and they've had enough.
The Reds are going up!
And with no other prospective buyers on the horizon means we're stuck with RD for the foreseeable.
Oh happy days
Depressing stuff.
