    Best:- Jonny Williams signed shirt from my son... he waited over 2 hours for signature and Jonny gave him a pair of signed boots too!! I’m buzzing!

    My mother is 82 and a wonderful woman, God I love her but I have had some truly shit Christmas presents off of her over the years.

    I admit I do not make it easy for anyone, as I am not into the receiving of gifts for myself and I much prefer to give (there may be some amateur phsycoanalaysts on CL to help me with that one?).

    But todays present was a topper, a selection box of cream crackers and a slab of room temperature Cathedral City mature cheddar!

    The woman I was dating for a bit got me this. I've posted on here about this before, I have a longstanding fascination with the JFK Assassination.

     This is the "Life" magazine from after the Warren Report was released. It contains an article by Gerald Ford (then Congressman and member of the Commission) that clearly shows how the Warren Commission came to an erroneous conclusion. From the caption, "Caused the front part of his skull to explode FORWARD."

    It would be another 10+ years before the public saw the Z film. But what we now know, and what the Commission was (I believe) intentionally misleading about, is that Kennedy's head was blown BACK AND TO THE LEFT.

    In short, this article, which is 15 pages to the Warren Reports 20-odd volumes, played a huge role in the PR aspect of the cover-up.

    I know it's proper nerdy, but it's an incredible piece of Assassination lore, and it's an article I've heard referenced multiple times.

    That is actually it. Got some concert tickets for the summer as a joint present. 

    Kids having a great time, about to go to the park on their new bikes, so will probably end up with some sort of accident
    Especially if they've been drinking whisky.

    My daughter went on a Star Wars spree for me. Got Darth Vader slippers, x-wing pyjamas and the Anthony Daniels autobiography. She knows her dad well!!

    There’s a stall at Greenwich market that sell coasters like these. Haven’t seen these designs though, love the bottom left one, this was my first season.

    Girlfriend got me (and her) half season tickets as a birthday and Christmas present.

    I'll let you know at the end of the season if it was the best or the worst present.

    Best gift so far from Greenie Jnr Jnr an original WW2 tank track from a Russian T34 tank. Huge bit of kit and weighs a ton! 😃
